Anyone know offhand what page(s) we were on during the late evening of 11/8/16? I wouldn't mind reading those again.

Vice President-elect Mike Pence touted that the President-elect officially filled his cabinet and did so under budget on Thursday, 24-hours ahead of Donald Trump’s official swearing-in ceremony.

“We’re wrapping up this transition on schedule and under budget,” Pence declared. “We will actually return some 20 percent of taxpayer funding.” Pence added that this is in keeping with Trump’s expectations going forward as President of the United States.

Spicer added that Trump’s address will be a personal and sincere statement about his vision for the country.

It will be “less of an agenda” and more of a “vision of where he sees the country,”

what a concept. A president who demands bang for the buck.

Not a bad salute, but he should tuck in his thumb.

That's no mere airman. That is the base commander or person of similar dignitude.

As far as a snappy salute goes, I remind that Trump went to a military high school.

Luckily, I have enough willpower to control the driving ambition that rages within me.

When you had the votes, we did things your way. Now, we have the votes and you will be doing things our way. This lesson in political reality from Lyndon B. Johnson

"Some things are apparent. Where government moves in, community retreats, civil society disintegrates and our ability to control our own destiny atrophies. The result is: families under siege; war in the streets; unapologetic expropriation of property; the precipitous decline of the rule of law; the rapid rise of corruption; the loss of civility and the triumph of deceit. The result is a debased, debauched culture which finds moral depravity entertaining and virtue contemptible." - Justice Janice Rogers Brown

Is there any way to hear an air traffic control recording of Trump being sent off today? Just curious what was said, if there were cheers or congratulations offered.

I've seen many worse salutes from senior active-duty officers. . .

The most important part of a salute is the sincerity in which it is tendered. You can tell that President Trump means his salute as a sincere expression of respect and gratitude; not the fakery we've seen from president sparklemuffin the past 8 years.

I thought it was a good, sincere salute too.

Watching the videos I had a moment when they exchanged salutes where I had a feeling of pride in our country, along with a feeling of hope and optimism for our country. The pride has been there, the hope and optimism was not common recently prior to November 8th. Then something shocking happened, something that almost made me feel some sympathy for the GDCs losing their mind these days. I suddenly thought, "What if that were Bill Clinton's wife and her husband getting off that plane?" I immediately felt physically ill and thought I was going to puke. It was only focusing on the video and the fact that that disastrous nightmare didn't happen that saved me. I can understand how the GDCs feel unsettled, but they are wrong and this is the way forward for our wonderful county. God Bless America! God bless our 45th president.

Maybe I should have added the Big Grin

Yeah, I saw a multitude of much worse salutes, and not all of them from senior officers, either.
