Couple pages ago, posted about Trump coming out against Egypt's potential UN resolution against Israel.

"Egyptian officials scrapped a plan to proceed with a United Nations Security Council vote condemning the construction of Israeli settlements, following pushback from Israeli officials and President-elect Trump."

Now reports are out that Obama & Kerry were going to let the attack on Israel go forward if it had come up.

The United States was planning to abstain from Thursday’s vote on an Egyptian-drafted resolution at the United Nations Security Council condemning Israeli settlements, according to NBC News and Reuters.

Sources confirmed to the US TV network the US was planning to forgo its veto and allow the resolution to pass before Egypt’s President Abdel Fattah el-Sissi pulled out and asked for a delay, reportedly under Israeli diplomatic pressure.

Reuters, for its part, quoted “two Western officials” saying the US intended to allow the Security Council to approve the resolution, in what it termed “a major reversal of US practice of protecting Israel from such criticism.”

The resolution, which demanded that Israel immediately halt its settlement activities in the West Bank and East Jerusalem, was scheduled to be brought to a vote on Thursday afternoon.

United States Secretary of State John Kerry was planning a major address to lay out the US reasoning and vision for taking such a stance, which would have been a departure from longstanding US policy to veto one-sided resolutions at the international body targeting Israel, the TV report said.

Speaking at his annual news conference in Moscow, Russia's president said that only Russia had believed that Trump would become the next president of the United States, but that did not mean the Democrats had the right to blame him for their defeat.

"The current administration and the leadership of the Democratic Party are trying to blame all their failures on external factors," Putin told reporters.

"(We are talking about) a party which has clearly forgotten the original meaning of its own name," Putin said, accusing the Democrats of "shamelessly" abusing their status as the ruling party to try to influence public opinion.

"Outstanding figures in American history from the ranks of the Democratic Party would likely be turning in their graves. Roosevelt certainly would be," he said.

Predictably, the completely corrupt and bias American press jumped on Trump's "Let it be an arms race" comment. Is anyone in the least surprised how they would capitalize on this? But, here's Putin's take:

Trump's comments, made in a tweet on Thursday, alarmed non-proliferation experts who said that a boost to the U.S. arsenal could fuel global tensions.

But Putin said he was surprised by the fuss Trump's tweet had caused and how it had been linked to his own statements about Russia's plans to modernize its own nuclear arsenal.

Putin said on Thursday Russia's military was "stronger than any potential aggressor". He made clear on Friday he did not regard the United States as a potential aggressor.

In case any of the corrupt, ignoarnt, lying press cared to bothered to notice, the United States already has a substantial stockpile of nuclear weapons.

Honestly, I can not think of any genuine positive leadership in the past 8 years out of this President. He exhibited none as a US Senator or as a State Senator - so he has a perfect 0-3 record for LEADING. He has clearly been out of his league.
