Milo would be a hoot. The guy is sharp enough and quick enough that they could never catch him. Imwould love to see all the liberal press' faces the first time he used the word "faggot" in the briefing. I would laugh my ass off and replay it over and over.

EXCLUSIVE: Rocky goes to Washington! Trump taps Sylvester Stallone for top 'arts' role

Damn, I could have been a contender.

Quote:
'It's been widely and wrongly assumed that a Trump Presidency will be hostile to the arts,' a source told DailyMail.com. 'But Mr Trump feels this sort of A-list appointment is precisely the shot in the arm that the industry needs.'

Stallone, 70 - best known for his roles as John Rambo and Rocky Balboa - backed John McCain’s presidential run in 2008 but he is not a registered Republican.

However the movie action man described Trump as 'bigger than life' in a recent interview, though he stopped short of endorsing his Presidency. 'I love Donald Trump,' he told Variety Magazine. 'He’s a great Dickensian character. You know what I mean? 'There are certain people like Arnold, Babe Ruth, that are bigger than life. But I don’t know how that translates to running the world.'

I've been re-reading the pages from about the middle of this thread - it's interesting to compare the thoughts then to those now.

Since this thread will close soon, I want to say thanks to Para. Not a day went by where I didn't check in. And I was better for it. Sigforum has a political slant, but it's far from an echo chamber, as the thread title will tell you.

Has there ever been a time in this countries history where the losing candidate and supports simply would NOT give up and continue to try and force their way into power?

Ever?

I have read every page and on times when I have been gone for several days, it was a real chore to catch up.

Thanks Para!

Absolutely, many thanks Para, for giving us this forum and most of all for this thread. Like others here, I've been reading it, forever it seems, and am amazed at the breadth and depth of thought on these pages. It's been and continues to be a thrilling ride.

Only shaving head? In some places in America and elsewhere, behavior such as above have resulted in "honor" killings.

You could probably say that the South's rejection of the outcome of the 1860 election-- Lincoln-- was far worse. Except that the South did not want to control the Federal government under Lincoln, they wanted to leave the nation he controlled.

So I think the answer is no. The Democrat Party has covered itself in shame, if they had any sense of shame. But screw 'em. Why even pay attention? In a few days it will be resolved irrefutably, and in a few weeks after that President Donald Trump will enter the Oval Office.

Thank you sir.

I use Sigforum as my main source in attempting to counter the stupid and biased support for Obama and Clinton we see here in Ireland.

Its good to know that as Trump's Presidency progresses I will be able to get the true story!

He went with another former NFL player, Jim Brown, who was an avid HRC supporter. But after meeting with Trump "fell in love" with him.

It's a funny thing, everyone who actually meets with Trump, regardless of their feelings about him prior to a face to face, seems to really like him. Everyone except the press that is. But they don't count as they are a bunch of lying, partisan, lying left wing assholes who are being taken to school right now by their new daddy Trump. They will hate him forever and happily I don't think he is going to give a single shit about that.

It's getting locked next month on the 20th.

But many others like me check in to get the latest info on appointees, recounts, and the mind boggling reactions of the leftists. I find it to be a wealth of knowledge.

It's content like this that has me laughing more than in the Cat Thread.
