Hillary Clinton’s campaign chairman John Podesta is blaming the FBI, after Russians successfully hacked the Democratic National Committee’s emails.
Podesta complained that the FBI failed to physically send an agent to warn the DNC, even though FBI agents repeatedly called the DNC to warn it of Russian cyber attacks on their network.

“What takes this from baffling to downright infuriating is that at nearly the exact same time that no one at the FBI could be bothered to drive 10 minutes to raise the alarm at DNC headquarters, two agents accompanied by attorneys from the Justice Department were in Denver visiting a tech firm that had helped maintain Clinton’s email server,” he said.

Podesta called the FBI “broken” saying it spent more time investigating Hillary Clinton’s email server than protecting Democrats from hacking.

“As the former chair of the Clinton campaign and a direct target of Russian hacking, I understand just how serious this is,” he said.

The FBI investigating Clinton emails was about the improper handling of TS/SCI SAP material.

It was Podesta himself who responded to a basic phishing attack and gave access to his 60,000 emails.

The people who were providing IT services for the DNC ignored multiple FBI phone calls that they were being hacked. (Phone calls from Sept 2015. Over a year ago)

Barack Obama and his family will be taking Air Force One to Honolulu on Friday to embark on their annual Christmas vacation. The family does not plan on returning to the White House until after the new year.

It appears that the so-called cyber attack by the Russian government is not important enough for Obama to stay in Washington, D.C. during the holidays.

Before departing Friday evening, Obama will host reporters for his annual end-of-year news conference, scheduled for 2:15 p.m.

Obama promised that the U.S. will retaliate against Russia for accusations of suspected meddling in America's election process.

"Some of it may be explicit and publicized, some of it may not be," he told NPR News Thursday. "But Mr. Putin is well aware of my feelings about this, because I spoke to him directly about it ."
