Good, tallyho FCC! We can do without almost ALL of these departments and agencies.

I'm awed by Trump's energy, and by his dedication in, for example, working even on Thanksgiving Day. I hope, however, that he takes some time for a vacation, or at least puts aside time to rest. Not as a "reward," but just-- realistically-- because he is, no matter how energetic, a 70 year old man.

5 years or so ago I ran an 8 dog dogsled 30 miles in the Grand Tetons, in Jackson Hole. At the orientation meeting in the morning, we were told to run with the sled up inclines, or at least pedal, because the dogs were so determined to do their job, so set on pleasing us, that they would run themselves to death. Literally.

So, I hope somebody in his family, maybe one of his kids, says, "Dad...."

I just don't want to see anything happen to him. We need him too much.

This sounds corny, but Im so proud for the folks of WV. Blue collar, hard working. They have gone from blue to seeing the light and SOLID red.

Slight thread drift: So why did they elect Senator Joe Manchin six years ago?

Jill Stein is raising money for a recount in Michigan,Pennsylvania, & Wisconsin. What is this supposed to accomplish?

The only light at the end of the tunnel for her is an oncoming freight train. It can't remotely help her cause. Why can't ANY of these people just accept the truth?....TRUMP WON!!

We've been red on presidential elections since 96 iirc

Still elected a Dem governor, but WV dems tend to be more conservative than northeast Republicans

Thank you for noticing.
As Elk alluded, dems here (for the most part) are not as far left as they are elsewhere.
I absolutely love the notion of being not just in the majority...but in a state where every single county voted Trump.
We are resolute, if anything.

Thank you! There were actually quite a number of "no democrat running" on the ballot this month, quite a change from 20+ years ago when Broadway Joe Manchin was in his hay day.

WV has been pro union and pro blue collar for years. But there are fewer and fewer union coal miners which had been the most influential segment here. Unbelievably the coal miner union supported Obama in 2008 and I believe 2012.
Two years ago we finally got a Republican run state house and senate and they changed WV to a "right to work" state and also abolished mandatory union wages to be paid on any and all city/county/ and state contracts.

The national democratic stand on gun control alone pretty much shit canned democrat relevance here. Obama's stupid shit just added to it.

Uhhh, yeah. That's the next evolution. Why wouldn't we talk about his picks? Between now and the inauguration, what else is there to discuss besides what the administration will be like?
Uh--guns?

OK. What guns do you think Trump will pick? I see him as a 10mm guy.

I think he'd buy American, maybe a nice .40S&W.

BTW, I do have a DE .50AE. I actually prefer the L.A.R. "Grizzly" in that caliber, though (US made, too).

Well, even this long after the election, liberal heads are exploding on a regular basis. That's always cheap entertainment.

Well hell's bells that makes it so much easier.
You are so right it really doesn't matter who is secretary of state anyone can do it.
