Uhhh, yeah. That's the next evolution. Why wouldn't we talk about his picks? Between now and the inauguration, what else is there to discuss besides what the administration will be like?
Uh--guns?

flashguy
OK. What guns do you think Trump will pick? I see him as a 10mm guy.
What does he carry?

Trump to meet w Sheriff David Clarke on Monday.

“The president elect meets with individuals who he believes he wants to hear their ideas, suggestions and opinions and then sometimes considers them for multiple potential positions,” Trump transition team’s Sean Spicer explained.

that would be a nice administration addition

H&K .45 and a .38 S&W; that's all that he has elaborated on to date, along with his permit.

I wonder if the POTUS actually ever carries. Pretty sure the current one would have shot his toe off. W might have been open to it..maybe. Wonder what the Secret Service position would be on that. I have a feeling I know...lol

On their own property? Or while actually out and about on presidential business? I would be extremely surprised if the USSS would allow a president to carry while out and about, but I would be happy to see evidence to the contrary.

From On the Issues... "A former Secret Service agent remembers that when Reagan was running for president the first time, he came out of his home in Bel Air to drive to Rancho del Cielo, the 700-acre Reagan ranch near Santa Barbara. Another agent noticed that he was wearing a pistol and asked what that was for. "Well, just in case you guys can't do the job, I can help out," Reagan replied. Reagan confided to one agent that on his first presidential trip to the Soviet Union in May 1988, he had carried a gun in his briefcase."

I have been trying to wrap my head around all the types of government in the world.

So Hitler as not really socialist, but more fascist, as in far right. But socialism is far left...even though his party was the national socialist party. I think.

What the dems have been trying to institute is a social democracy. Social justice warriors, and the welfare state....redistribution of income....all contained with the "framework" of capitalism. I got this from Wikipedia, yes.

I think.

But the progressives want big government so that they can impose their will on industries. And on the people.

I find this very confusing. What is their big problem with Trump? Calling him Hitler seems to mean they feel he is so far right as to be almost fascist or totalitarian.

When the dems call this a democracry, do they mean the social democracy they are trying to create? Is that really what they have been trying to drive us toward?

Or do I need to start drinking and forget all this?
