I like it. Glad Nikki has come onboard. So far, Trump is batting a thousand.

Apparently Laura Ingraham commented, on the news that Clinton will not be pursued, "He's not even President yet, and he's already pardoned a turkey for Thanksgiving."

Luckily, I have enough willpower to control the driving ambition that rages within me.

When you had the votes, we did things your way. Now, we have the votes and you will be doing things our way. This lesson in political reality from Lyndon B. Johnson

"Some things are apparent. Where government moves in, community retreats, civil society disintegrates and our ability to control our own destiny atrophies. The result is: families under siege; war in the streets; unapologetic expropriation of property; the precipitous decline of the rule of law; the rapid rise of corruption; the loss of civility and the triumph of deceit. The result is a debased, debauched culture which finds moral depravity entertaining and virtue contemptible." - Justice Janice Rogers Brown

You guys want to second-guess the man? I can see how you'd feel yourselves to be in a position to do so, since you managed his campaign for him.

Go on and tell us what Trump needs to do. He needs your help with these things, and everyone here just can't wait to hear your important opinions on the matter..

It appears that Ben Shapiro might actually....like President Trump! Calls him 'Classy' for calling the family's of slain police officers. No doubt President Trump is classy.

Or does Ben just recognize that he has no audience for any contrary opinions?

I could only copy part of the text from the article, sorry. Dang iPhone.

"One of the reasons Donald Trump has become so popular with many Americans lies in his gut-level pro-Americanism. Trump doesn’t make blue collar Americans feel bad about themselves; he tells them they’re not racists or sexists. Trump doesn’t make those who earn feel rotten; he tells them that he’s earned too, and he’s proud of it. Most of all, Trump doesn’t tear down law enforcement.

That last fact was on full display on Tuesday, when the president-elect called the family of San Antonio police officer Benjamin Marconi, who was murdered on Sunday morning during a traffic stop. Police Chief William McManus said the “uniform was the target” in the murder."

With regards to the SC and Haley questions, Lt Gov Foghorn Leghorn.

Someone else will have to answer the Sessions questions.

Here is an extremely interesting Forbes cover article on Jared Kushner, Trump's son-in-law, and the one credited by Forbes of getting him into the White House. Apparently, the campaign was less random and haphazard as the media portrayed, due to the low cost innovations by Kushner. Very interesting.

Marconi’s son, Dane, posted on Facebook, “Just got off the phone with future president Trump, he sends his condolences to our family.” Trump’s team has said nothing about the call thus far.

And that boys and girls is how a real president handles things. Trump recognizes he doesn't need to take credit for doing what a president is 'supposed' to do. For any of his perceived faults, GWB has always done the same thing when dealing with our troops.

Its very nice to feel a refreshing breeze beginning to blow across the cesspool in Washington.

I do hope there is a thorough investigation to identify and punish the people at State Dept, DoJ, and FBI who actively obstructed the investigation of mishandling of TS / SCI SAP and 2000 Confidentials.

Those guilty should have their clearances pulled and be fired.

Prosecutions of Cheryl Mills, Huma Abedin, Jake Sullivan, Bryan Pagliano, Heather Samuelson, Patrick Kennedy, and Platte Rive Employees would be both warranted and important.

Govt employees need to know that lying and obstruction have consequences beyond getting a job at the Clinton Foundation.

I don't have the time or inclination to do so, but I can't help but wonder how much of this thread was dedicated to advice about what Trump needs to do or not do. And yet, despite it all, he won. He did it his way, he won. In case anyone missed it, Trump won without listening to single person here. But, ya. Now that he's won, he needs to hear from you because he now all of the sudden has no clue how to get things done.

People just need to get over themselves and stop wasting oxygen telling everone what Trump needs to do or not do. He won. He earned it. Sit back and enjoy the ride.

Especially given the fact that many who offered this advice were fair weather followers. Many people seemed to rise and fall by the latest "OMG HE CAN'T OVERCOME THIS, HIS CAMPAIGN IS DONE" or his performance at this or that debate. Many people offering advice did so because of this or that poll where the media ensured us that it was over. A lot of the advice was nothing more than controlled hand wringing that was fueled by a media juggernaut.

I sense that nothing has changed post election.
