I'll hazard a guess the hair and makeup sessions she used to get add up to around several thousand a pop. I wonder if her current willingness to display what she really looks like is an indication of depths of her depression, or an attempt to garner sympathy. That's exactly right. This phony is done in politics so she no longer has to have her staff work overtime to make her look youthful and vibrant. If she doesn't need your vote, it's not worth the effort to put on the facade.

Had a staff meeting yesterday at work. One of the things we always talk about is the local economy (I work at a bank). The local mining office reported that the day after the election 12 companies submitted requests for permits for mines. This industry has been dead for the past 8 years and while nothing has really changed yet, the optimism is returning already. These companies are betting that Trump will roll back the stupid, useless EPA regs that have crippled the coal mining industry.

Anecdotal for sure, but I've seen a shitton more coal buckets turning into the mine that is along my commute. In years past, there would be 3-4 in the turn lane when I hit that intersection (4-lane divided highway & county road). The last few years, none or maybe 1-2 a week. All this week there have been at least 2 and as many as 6.
