Can you imagine having to follow Pastor Mark Burns at a rally? What energy! He can deliver a message for our side that only a Black man would be allowed to speak in 2016 America.

This post is an apology to Ann Coulter, in the past, a person I thought of as a harpy, a pie-in-the-face loudmouth, she is saying exactly how I feel about Trump. She is one of the few who gets Trump, and what he is trying to accomplish. She just released a book In Trump We Trust.. This interview with Breitbart articulates exactly how I feel about this election.

Worth a read.

Bluer than blue. Great city but is filled with the worst kind of liberals imagined. Quite the paradox for us Texans.

I want to second that-- including how I have felt about her in the past. And I know that she is an entertainer, first and foremost. But I was impressed that she went to Wisconsin and attended rallies for Paul Nehlen who was challenging Paul Ryan-- even though he was being buried in the polls, and lost in a landslide. She wasn't making the right career move, she was doing what she thought was right. Good for her.

“Hillary is hiding, but Donald Trump is everywhere.”
-VP candidate Mike Pence,
King of Prussia, PA Wed 8/23/2016

Pence came to the business located right across from me yesterday and had a really good turnout for an event at 1:30 pm on a weekday.

I watched a livestream of the rally and noted that it wasn't all "old, white people" as our media loves to portray. There were young and old, black and white pretty well represented there.

A very good sign if you ask me.

Nigel Farage, the outgoing leader of the UK's Independence Party (conservatives), will speak tonight at Trump's Jackson, MS, rally. He is worth hearing.

Trump's schedule after today is in a bit of flux, as he abruptly cancelled a few upcoming dates. There's a couple competing stories as to why he did so. He has also delayed delivering a major immigration speech that was originally scheduled for tomorrow.

I hope all of you had a chance to hear Trump this evening. It was the best rally since West Bend. A very strong message that made so much common sense.

And many others, too. I've had tech jobs in downtown Austin, and while socially liberal I've never voted democrat or 3rd party in my life, and most of my many friends who live there are anything but leftists (investment folks, gun lovers, hunters, all sorts of things).

And, without a teeny bit of doubt, it's the best place in the whole state, and I've seen it all.

Just a part of it once he realized he could not deport 11,000,000 + people very easily.

Trump and the RNC are currently engaged in a battle over Trump's immigration message. The RNC says that Trump's hard-line stance is huring Republicans downstream in state and local elections. IMO, Trump's hard-line stance on immigration is helping everyone down the line and muting the message would be a huge mistake.

I hope he politely but firmly tells the RNC to saddle up.....this is going to be a rough ride.

Trump is doing what he has to do to gain needed votes from the people he's having a hard time connecting with (women, minorities, college educated, etc.).

I like the move. It makes him look more human.

Never in modern American political history has a more issue-oriented, serious candidate for president faced off against a more dishonest, platform-less, self-absorbed celebrity who is cashing in on ill-gotten wealth and fame despite serious concerns about mental and physical health.

The man all about issues, of course, is real estate developer Donald Trump. From the day he announced for the presidency, Mr. Trump has set the agenda.

In the primary, establishment Republicans would have been perfectly happy to just talk about proper politician temperament and nibbling around the edges of arcane education policy. Who has the best hair and most diverse looking families. Whose name sound the most Hispanic.

Mr. Trump crashed that party and declared that the primary would not be just another beauty pageant. It would be about securing the border to stop illegal immigration, tracking down and killing terrorists before they get into the United States and jump-starting the domestic economy.

Woven through his concrete policy positions was a new mantra of “America first,” both in terms of foreign policy and economic trade. This would mean an end to bipartisan military entanglements that do not directly strengthen the USA and the abandonment of trade deals that do not directly benefit America.

Literally billions and billions of dollars are at stake here, which is why establishment politicians in both parties are so terrified of Mr. Trump.

Corporations need cheap illegal labor, importers need cheap goods from China and the military industrial complex needs to keep America’s wars rolling. Every one of these entities has armies of high-paid lobbyists to make sure that the establishment stays put no matter what the voters want.

Hillary Clinton? Her entire campaign is built on celebrity, pay-for-play wealth and establishment politics against a backdrop of gender wars.

Her only hope is to trade on her global celebrity she “earned” by marrying a future president. And it doesn’t hurt to be propped up by the vast wealth she and her husband leveraged out of those eight long, lascivious years they were in the White House.

Please rethink using the term 'conservatives' in your post. Here in yUK, as I'm sure you know, the conservative part is a complete party i its own right, in fact, it's THE major political party, and currently in government with a new lady prime minister.

They are NOTHING at all like what the average US politically-aware person considers to be 'conservative'.

Trump had an unusual guest speaker at his Jackson rally — longtime former UK Independence Party leader Nigel Farage, a leader of the "Brexit" movement for the UK to leave the European Union. Farage met Bryant at the Republican National Convention, and the governor invited him to Mississippi, and to speak at the Trump rally.

Farage said Americans with the presidential election face an option similar to UK voters with Brexit, to take the country back from "the political class" and "big banks."

Farage said he can't endorse a candidate in the U.S. presidential election because he's criticized President Obama for telling UK voters to vote against leaving the EU. But he said, "If I were an American citizen, I wouldn't vote for Hillary Clinton if you paid me."
