This weekend, I finally encountered some of the post-election mourners- some of my wife's friends. I guess I knew what to expect. Weepiness from women mourning some great loss, when they are speaking to a small group of others they trust, is no surprise to me, not at my age. I reached my limits, though, when I saw a grown man getting choked up over Hillary Clinton losing a fair election.
In order to preserve the domestic tranquility of my household, I just had to leave. I had to find an errand to run and just get out of there. I assume that anyone in attendance at the time and who cared to notice understood what was going on.
So, on this rainy Sunday morning, all is well here.

However...

In December, when the EC certifies the vote- and they WILL certify the vote and I don't want to hear one single word of conspiracy crap about it- I'm going to post a gigantic FUCK YOU!!! to all the bed-wetting leftists.

On January 20th, when President-elect Trump raises his right hand and takes his oath of office, I will, with great joy, post yet another gigantic FUCK YOU!! to the puerile leftists.

Nigel Farage has revealed that Donald Trump's inner team have reservations about Theresa May's Government after he met the president-elect in New York.

The interim Ukip leader, who became the first foreign politician to meet the newly-elected Mr Trump on Saturday, told the Telegraph that the Republican's team raised concerns about comments by Mrs May and her cabinet in the run-up to the US election.

Despite the concerns, Mr Farage said he is "extremely optimistic" about the prospect of a post-Brexit trade deal after meeting Mr Trump and his advisers at Trump Tower.

Mr Farage used his hour-long meeting with Mr Trump to persuade him to return a bust of Sir Winston Churchill to the Oval Office.

The bust was removed by Barack Obama in 2008, prompting a furious reaction from leading British politicians. They included Boris Johnson, who is now Foreign Secretary.

Mr Farage said that Mr Trump, an Anglophile, was “excited” by the idea and was “very positive” about returning the bust to the Oval Office.

However, he warned that Mrs May will have to “mend some fences” if she is to build a successful relationship with Mr Trump following “rude comments” during the EU referendum.

Last year, Mr Trump prompted a backlash from senior British politicians, including Mrs May, after claiming that London had become so radicalised that police were afraid to walk the streets.

Mrs May, the then Home Secretary, said that Mr Trump was “completely wrong” and a third of the current cabinet - nine of the 23 members - publicly attacked Mr Trump.

Mr Farage said that, while Mr Trump said he had enjoyed a “nice conversation” with Mrs May when they spoke last week, the rest of his team was less impressed.

“He said he had a nice conversation, although some of his team had reservations about what members of the cabinet have said during the election,” Mr Farage said. “Believe you me, his team are conscious of the comments.”

He said that Mr Trump’s election as president is “brilliant news and good for Britain”.

Asked why Mr Trump had singled him out for a meeting, Mr Farage said: “He was very grateful I put my head over the parapet and he recognised that. His whole team are pro-Britain. I am extremely optimistic about Britain's future.”

Last week, the Telegraph disclosed that Liam Fox, the International Trade Secretary, was planning to consult Mr Farage before flying out to the US. He was subsequently barred from doing so by Downing Street.

Mr Farage said that Downing Street blocked Mr Fox from speaking to him because “they resent me".

He became friends with Mr Trump during the election campaign and appeared at a rally with him.

In an appearance on Fox News on Saturday, Mr Farage said that Mrs May's team has been "quite rude" about Mr Trump. He is urging Mr Trump to meet her and hopes that the relationship will be similar to that of Margaret Thatcher and Ronald Reagan.

In earlier comments, Mr Farage said: "It was a great honour to spend time with Donald Trump. He was relaxed and full of good ideas. I'm confident he will be a good president.

“His support for the US-UK relationship is very strong. This is a man with whom we can do business."

"I was especially pleased at his very positive reaction to the idea that Sir Winston Churchill's bust should be put back in the Oval Office."

Mr Farage said: "He understands and recognises what our two great nations have done together between us. And thank goodness we're coming to the end of an American president who loathed us." He said they ignored criticism and their policies "made the world a better place".

Conservative radio host Laura Ingraham is under serious consideration to be Donald Trump's White House press secretary, according to two sources with direct knowledge.

Trump appreciated Ingraham's loyalty through the campaign. A former white-collar defense attorney and Supreme Court law clerk, Ingraham helped Trump with debate preparation. She also campaigned on his behalf and offered occasional strategic advice.

With the possible exceptions of Sean Hannity, Ann Coulter and Breitbart, no media figure or outlet did more to promote Trump's candidacy than Ingraham.

She used her profile as a Fox News contributor, her nationally syndicated radio show and her website LifeZette.com to advocate on his behalf. Trump also tapped into Ingraham's years of dirt-digging on the Clintons to sharpen his attacks on the Democratic nominee.

Ingraham would not comment for this article. A source familiar told The Hill that she's in contact with people in Trump's inner circle and has expressed interest in the role.

The president-elect and his inner circle hold Ingraham in the highest esteem. They view her as tough, admire her rhetorical skills, and believe she'd powerfully convey Trump's anti-establishment message.

Selecting Ingraham would send a signal that Trump has no interest in softening his relationships with the Republican leaders in Washington, D.C.

Trump isn't the first insurgent outsider candidate who Ingraham has helped. In 2014, she endorsed Dave Brat when he primaried then-House Majority Leader Eric Cantor (R-Va.). Brat went on to defeat Cantor in an astonishing upset win –– due in large part to Ingraham's enthusiastic backing.

Another debate going on in the transition planning is whether Trump should pick Republican National Committe Chairman Reince Priebus or his campaign CEO Steve Bannon for chief of staff.

Some conservative grassroots activists, including Tea Party leader Jenny Beth Martin, have publicly warned Trump against picking Priebus because they view him as part of the "establishment" and thus in conflict with Trump's promise to "drain the swamp" in Washington.

Bannon, by contrast, pushed the envelope. As chairman of Breitbart News he built a home for the populist nationalist philosophy that underpinned Trump's presidential campaign.

If Trump picks Bannon it would be a rebuke to the Republican leadership in D.C. Bannon views House Speaker Paul Ryan as a "globalist" enemy and has given Breitbart reporters direct orders to destroy Ryan.

Hey, "elite" sweetheart, I went to bed before the election was called. I was certain that America would elect a criminal enterprise to the White House.

I was certain that an obviously brain-damaged person with no anger control and a raging insecurity complex was going to have "access to nuclear codes."

I was certain that the programs and executive orders that made marauding large government types the masters of my universe. I was worried my kids would grow up unable to express an opinion contrary to whatever government-sanctioned "right think" was current at the time.

I was concerned that America would never break free of economic policies that benefited whomever could come up with large enough bribes for the Democrat apparatchiks in power.

But I woke up to good news. America had not chosen that path.

Thank goodness America elected someone other than Hillary Clinton.
