And on the flip side, the most anti-Trump state is Vermont at only 32.6%, with Massachusetts next at 36.5%. (Though Washington DC itself was only 6.7% for Trump.)

I just read this article on Fox News about rumors from The Great Mentioner regarding possible cabinet appointments Link I thought there were some outstanding Mentionings, of which my favorite by far is Mike Lee for Attorney General. He has a brilliant legal mind and unquestioned integrity; has beome a very strong and steady Trump supporter. Of the potential candidates for AG, I believe Lee would be perceived as being the most fair. That will be needed when heads need to roll (chuckle). Compared with 2016 when Trump was the outsider with no experience running a government, Trump now will have the best people in the country lining up for administration positions. Don Jr. considers it his job to "keep out the snakes". _________________________ “Remember, remember the fifth of November!"

But if that compact were to be in effect today, this is what the 2024 electoral vote map would look like: So considering it's almost exclusively blue states that have approved it, I suspect there may be some of these states that have second thoughts and pull out of this compact in the coming years, putting it even further away from hitting the 270+ mark anytime soon.

Not quite accurate. There'd still be 1 blue vote in Nebraska. This is where my signature goes.

GOP's McCormick unseats Bob Casey in PA Senate race: AP https://justthenews.com/politi..._campaign=newsletter Republican businessman Dave McCormick has ousted Sen. Bob Casey, D-Pa., in a hotly contested Senate race that took days resolve. The Associated Press called the race on Thursday, at which time McCormick led by less than half a percentage point. Casey first won election in 2006. McCormick's triumph comes on the waves of President-elect Donald Trump once again flipping the state red on Tuesday evening, after the state flipped blue in 2020. _________________________

I knew that "compact" would come back to bite them at some future date. It was nothing more than a pissy fit because 2016 didn't go their way. This and other attempts to manipulate the EC for a desired outcome were and are highly dangerous. wcb6092... This was important as now Susan Collins and Lisa Murkowski can go fuck themselves and not hold up too much in the Senate. We would still have the majority if they pull any of their bullshit on nominations/confirmations (which you know they will do). Nominations/confirmations are still a simple majority, correct? All these meltdowns and panics and such .... These are the people who believe their party should be in charge? That their beliefs and values are superior? That they are sane? Seriously?
