People seem to forget that after Donald Trump's presidential campaign took off in 2015/2016 Graham stood before cameras and said something to the effect of "He's not going to get the nomination and if he does, he's going to loooooooose" Actually, he put so much emphasis on the word, it came out like "leeeoooooooooose". https://sigforum.com/eve/forum...630015264#2630015264 And don't brush it off by saying "All politicians are that way." I think it's about time for me to close this thread as it approaches 800 pages and almost 16,000 replies. The truth is that I should have closed it long ago. The 'Trump Presidency' threads serve as an archive of conservative reaction to the years of the Trump administration. Perhaps in a couple of years we will be able to continue the series. At this point, I estimate that there is a high probability we will have that opportunity. I'll leave the thread open a bit longer but the activity of this thread has slowed, not to mention that it has become a novel-length monster. Members can feel free to add to this thread until it's locked. The intent of my creation of this series of threads was to provide a focused repository on the subject. For the time being, though, Donald Trump has been out of the news cycle for the most part. Any news on Donald Trump which members wish to post can go into existing pertinent threads, or newly created threads, but let's not overdo it with new threads on the subject. These four threads will be preserved in perpetuity in this forum and, hopefully, we will see The Trump Presidency : Year V less than 24 months from now. | |||
