Yessir, you did! Big Grin

I debated for a moment about posting the image here, but -- in all honesty -- it was just easier to post the image than to make the list.

(If that's not proper, I'll edit the post.)

I’m sure there are. I see the Senate as being a constant fight between hard core socialists like Bernie and more moderate Dems. I see Bernie asking for all kinds of stuff for his vote, but giving in to him would lose other votes. I think getting all 50 Dems to agree is going to be a lot harder than most people think. The main problem will be a few RINOs flipping over to make up the numbers.

Things that disfavor the RINOs politically or financially (either publicly or personally)?

I'm having some difficulty following and figuring it out. I'd really like to understand this better. And also figure out where my House rep stands.

I came across an article and maybe it was even from here how Trump was bad for business for Washington politicians in terms of making money. The standard thing is lobbyists would bring bills to congresscritters who would sponsor such things for compensation one way or the other. And that's what takes up most of people's times - wheeling and dealing.

With Trump, such activities was actually tamped down because Trump was actually interested in doing good for the country and not for his pockets. The proof of this was that the criminal reform act was finally signed into law. It had already been waiting in the wings but there wasn't any money in it for anyone so no one was picking it up until Trump came.

The other thing also is that if you thought the BLM riots were bad, those would be like a walk through Disneyland if Congress really didn't go through the motions of certifying Biden.

They didn't have the advantage of looking at things differently like Trump did such as when he snagged 3 Muslim countries to recognize Israel in just one term compared to the decades of no progress in the middle east.

"It did not really matter what we expected from life, but rather what life expected from us. We needed to stop asking about the meaning of life, and instead to think of ourselves as those who were being questioned by life – daily and hourly. Our answer must consist not in talk and meditation, but in right action and in right conduct. Life ultimately means taking the responsibility to find the right answer to its problems and to fulfill the tasks which it constantly sets for each individual." My take on the next couple of years is in recent politics everything gets pushed through the budget reconciliation process. Biden will get only one crack a year at this. I think he'll do tax increases first. He'll do amnesty second. Given recent history I expect Congress to be handed back to Republicans. And, one Georgia Senate seat will be up in 2022. I expect to get that back. I don't think they'll pack the court. I don't think they'll add states, and I don't think they'll end the filibuster rule. There is still a handful of moderate Democrat Senators in purple states that want to keep their seats. That won't stop them from trying however. This wasn't a blue wave. Congressional margins are razor thin right now. That plus slow walking techniques will limit the damage. I expect a lot of stupid shit to be done via executive order, but that's easy to undo the next time the Republicans win the White House.

Gun control was added on the docket on jan 4th. Gun registration, safety inspections of gun storage, 7 day waiting period plus 2 more things. You can look up the H.R. code and get the spicy details.

All the never trumpers will get whats coming to them. Time to stop voting for turds who just let our rights be eroded away. Seriously, search this forum and find a win for us that didnt involve trump. Also search the losses and and tell me how well its going for us voting republican the last 12 years.

H.R. 30. 121,125, 127, 130, 167

We all know how fucked up this is, but the typical NPR listener soaks it in.

Jan 9, 2021

"NPR's Michel Martin discusses Republican support for President Trump and the future of the Republican Party with former Arizona Sen. Jeff Flake."

I'm sure NPR knew exactly what they were doing when they chose this asshole to speak for Republicans.

It's 7 minutes long.

is President Trump on gab.com ?

https://gab.com/realdonaldtrump\\

https://www.businessinsider.co...-twitter-bans-2021-1

Gab, a social networking site popular among the far right, seems to be capitalizing on Twitter bans and Parler's suspension from the Google store. It says its gaining 10,000 new users every hour.

Gab.com has reported massive growth following the Capitol insurrection, the removal of high-profile conservatives from Twitter, including President Donald Trump, and the suspension of the Parler app on the Google store.

Gab, a social networking website popular among the far-right, was founded in 2016 by Andrew Torba who touts it as a vehicle for free speech.

The layout of Gab is similar to Twitter. It displays trending posts in the center, aggregated news to the right, and a menu and explore section to the left.

Lawyer For Leonardo Contractor Who Witnessed U.S. Election Interference Operation In Italy Recounts Affidavit Via Video:

https://itnshow.com/wp-content...tor-leonardo.mp4?_=1

Professor Alfio D’Urso, the lawyer for the man who claims to have witnessed the operation to interfere with the U.S. election in Italy on election night, has released a video detailing his sworn affidavit.

That written affidavit was reportedly delivered to members of the U.S. Congress on Wednesday. Remarkably, the vote to certify the 2020 election results – even though evidence may exist that those results are fraudulent – went forward.

D’Urso’s client, a man by the name of Arturo D’Elia, claims to have taken part in an operation in which operatives from various intelligence agencies remotely manipulated votes from several locations in Italy, including the U.S. Embassy in Rome, and used military satellites owned and operated by Italian defense contractor Leonardo SpA to do it.

The revelations are being brought to light with the help of Maria Zack, Chairwoman of NationsInAction.org, a government accountability advocacy group based in Florida. Zack reportedly has received intercepts, photos and records of phone calls from the Italian intelligence service which is helping to bring the allegations to light.

D’Elia says he is willing to testify to all individuals and entities who participated in the scheme, which allegedly involved the switching of votes from Donald Trump to Joe Biden on election night.

Significantly, D’Elia says he has made data backups of the original data and the data after the switches the operatives were instructed to make, and is willing to provide that evidence in court.

Requests for comment from various members of Congress, including Speaker Pelosi and Sen. Chuck Schumer have so far gone unanswered.

Just noticed that member "bonfire" has this as his signature:

In war, truth is the first casualty. Aeschylus Greek tragic dramatist (525 BC - 456 BC)

Seems particularly appropriate now, even if not what Aeschylus meant.
