I just learned of that on Fox News. A very sad thing for the President and his extended family. I pray God's comfort for them all.

The President has been through a lot this year. This is sad for many reasons. I hope he can take time to grieve.

The President called him his best friend.

Trump is truly sacrificing for this country. I wish more people could see that.

Prayers for the Trump family.

On a lighter note, our Governor Kristi Noem sticks it to the Demonwits and MSM yet again in thiis widely reported statement:

You guys have an interesting Governors mansion. From the pictures it appears to be in a residential neighborhood. I cannot envision a 400 thousand security fence blending in at all. I do like her politics though.

I’ve been recording Levin the last few weeks. Just watched the entire episode with Bill Barr

Very enlightening.

I just contributed to the Trump campaign in the hopes of another 4 years. There's nothing more important or a better investment for our future. We're a Blessed Nation to have a man of his character, stamina and integrity willing to lead us. The sacrifices he and his family have made for us is staggering. There's no one more qualified or more deserving to lead us into the future.

Thank You President Trump, Thank You.

What is the web site where donations go directly to President Trump and NOT to the RNC? TIA...

I sent my contribution here: At the bottom it says "Paid for by Donald J. Trump for President, Inc."

https://secure.donaldjtrump.com/donate/

The other goes to Winred which I think is the RNC. and at the bottom says: "Paid for by WinRed. Not authorized by any candidate or candidate’s committee. WinRed.com".

New York Democrats angered after NYPD union endorses Trump

Yeah, it's a real mystery why the police union endorsed a non-Democrat. They hate the police, want to reduce the funding or completely eliminate the police, then are shocked/stunned/outraged when the police support the other guy.

In my opinion, any LEO who has supported a Democrat since at least the Michael Brown incident should have their head examined. It's pretty obvious the Dems have decided to throw law enforcement under the bus and instead support rioters/looters/arsonists and other assorted criminal elements instead.

I agree wholeheartedly, Josey. Same goes for the military. How someone supports and defends the Constitution of the United States against ALL enemies, foreign AND domestic and then supports a Leftarded, America-hating Democrap is beyond my comprehension. I guess they really didn't mean the oath they took, just endured their 4 years to get their free money and benefits outta Uncle Sam, and then spit, dance, and blaze the flag they "supposedly" defended. Grinds my gears!! Mad Mad

I understand your position, erj_pilot, and wholeheartedly agree about any LEO who continues to be oblivious to the forces that are changing law enforcement today—unless, of course, he thinks those changes are a good idea. “Don’t want me arresting certain people? Good by me; a lot less work and danger.”

The same is likewise true of anyone in the military or anyone else who has taken an oath to defend the Constitution. It doesn’t matter what any document—from holy scripture to a statutory law or other governing statement—says on its face, there will be people who will argue that what it says isn’t what it means. The never-ending debate over the Second Amendment is a perfect example: Opponents of the private ownership of guns argue that it refers only to governmental organizations like the National Guard. Someone who believes that, therefore, will have no problem supporting the seizure of privately owned firearms.

We can argue all day about other issues and I could cite countless examples, but just because you or I may believe that someone is violating his oath to support the Constitution doesn’t mean that he doesn’t believe just as sincerely that he isn’t. When I argued to my law professor cousin that the involuntary servitude provision of the Thirteenth Amendment prohibited, or should prohibit, military conscription, he emphatically pointed out all the reasons why I was wrong. Is arresting a draft dodger a violation of the Constitution? Some believe yes, some believe just as strongly no.
