Have they considered the costs of leaving? They would lose ALL protections, benefits, and services provided by (and possibly land owned by) the U.S. Government and would have to set these up for themselves.

Buddy of mine and I were speaking of that same thing. If I were Governor Abbott, I'd tell The Socialist Soviet Republic of Commiefornia, "Good luck getting anything from Texas. Go drill your own oil." I guess since they're mostly (not all) pretty much bark crunching Vegans, I guess they wouldn't have to worry about Nolan Ryan Texas Beef. Big Grin

Seems like there's a whole lot of Federal Land in those 3 States.

https://upload.wikimedia.org/w....S._Federal_Land.jpg

California: Percentage of Federal Land- 45.8%= California would be cut off from the continental USA
Oregon: Percentage of Federal Land- 52.9%
Washington: Percentage of Federal Land- 28.5%= Wa would be cut in half by the Cascades.

I've been somewhat warm to the idea of Arklatex seceding--might include Missouri.

Someone could make a great movie about the sabotage, unmasking, and attmpted coup. Perhaps not in left wing Hollywood, but somewhere.

the difference this time is that it might be in the best interest of the country

strip them of citizenship, remove all their US currency

send the a bill for their portion of the national debt

the rest of the country would be a very much better place

and they're prohibited from applying for citizenship or moving out of their holes

People in California are calling for a 'Calexit' from the US in the wake of Trump's win

"Some things are apparent. Where government moves in, community retreats, civil society disintegrates and our ability to control our own destiny atrophies. The result is: families under siege; war in the streets; unapologetic expropriation of property; the precipitous decline of the rule of law; the rapid rise of corruption; the loss of civility and the triumph of deceit. The result is a debased, debauched culture which finds moral depravity entertaining and virtue contemptible."

A general comment: the election is coming at us like a freight train now. It is a surreal situation where one of President Trump's best campaign efforts - his massive enthusiastic rallys - has been taken off the table.

If you are thinking of donating $ to a campaign, it would be good to do it earlier rather than later.

And please keep everyone you know pumped up about voting. Reach out to people you haven't talked to in a while. A massive conservative grass roots effort will help us crush the DEMs in November.

We want to reelect Donald Trump, hold onto the Senate, and take back the House. It all fits together.

With all the anarchy going on, it is hard to think of a better motivation to get out and vote against the radical far left, aka Democrats.

Probably so, but I see no way that armed force is used to prevent it, the way Lincoln did in the Civil War. Short of that...maybe it is possible, however unlikely or small the chances. If commie states like Ca., Wa., and others want to go...don't let the door hit you in the ass on the way out.

This is the most important election in my lifetime. I served under Ronald Reagan and proudly voted for him. If we can give Donald Trump 4 more years I think he will make history on the level of or surpassing Ronald Reagan.

1) Please verify the website I should use to donate money to the Trump Campaign?
2) Donate all at once or incrementally?

It's time to put up or shut up.

Thanks Mitch

At a time where our country is under unprecedented stress, I'll ask y'all that are even pondering letting chunks of this country go, "Are you Americans or not?"

In one way or another, all 50 states and territories of this great nation have been hard won. In a very short period of time, those people (of all sizes, beliefs and backgrounds) build the greatest nation in human history. It was built on the backs of the poorest in the world who believed enough in this idea to cross oceans, hack out a living in the wilderness, burying their children along the way, sending their sons to fight and die for every square inch of this country.

And you want to give it away? For what, just because a very small fraction of over inflated, self indulgent demographic has a different opinion than you? How is this any different than if China invaded California or Washington? I would bet every single one of you would fight.

No one has fought harder to keep this country together than Trump. No matter if we lose today, if we can wake up tomorrow to keep on fighting, we are winning.

I think it was about 50 years ago that I read a prediction that the USA would break up into 3 to 5 countries. It happened to the USSR, so possibly could here. I don't think we're at that point yet, though.
