Just my 2 cents but I don't think it's wise to be telegraphing all your moves on this and other topics in advance.

Yes I agree. They need to stop talking about shit. Make the plans and out them into effect on Inauguration Day. Don't give the democretins any chance to make plans. Just do it.

Fuck the NFL. Considering they didn't have a problem with the national anthem kneelers, this is the height of hypocrisy.

They are not banning anything. An NFL spokesperson told Front Office Sports: 'There’s no issue with a celebratory dance such as what took place yesterday or the previous week with the 49ers... it’s up to the networks to cover them as they see fit.'

I think President Donald J Trump knows exactly what he's doing here.

The man won 3 Presidential elections - I think we can trust his instincts.

He's gotten more stuff done in 2 weeks than "president" potato did in 4 YEARS.

I agree with the sentiment even more so as a resident of this 11th district. but even a fully staffed senate is still 50/50 and with Kackles as tie breaker. The judiciary committee is 6/5 Dems / Reps. There was one judge a few months ago that was so egregious that even a rational dem senator voted no and they failed to get out of committee. With Mancin occasionally voting no Almost all of these fed judges are rubber stamped. Ted Cruz and Kennedy and Hawley have done a great job trying to beat down the very worst ones. Just wait till DJT gets to start appointing federal judgeships.

These guys that are still on the clock need to be at work and voting however. If your VP elect but still a sitting senator, we can get you extra SS protection.

The Republicans who failed to show up for the vote were:

Sen. Mike Braun
Sen. Steve Daines
Sen. Bill Hagerty
Sen. Marco Rubio
Sen. JD Vance

Manchin was a no vote.

Trump was not impressed. don't know how to embed Truth Social posts but you will find the info at this Link to Red State.

I was not surprised by this

Didn't she already serve in this role somewhere and also in the previous Trump administration?

Look for a vicious fight from the Dems/Left as she is VERY pro school choice and charter school, they aren't going to take her trying to dismantle their educational cabal lying down.

Yes, there is nothing wrong with McMahon as DOE Secretary. And yes, she did serve under Trump 45 as Administrator of the Small Business Administration.

The exciting thing is, and I know it is obvious, is this administration will be much different.
Hitting the ground running, a specific agenda and a staff (hopefully) dedicated to accomplishing the goals.
I pray the deep state has been crippled (or will be so) enough to stop with the clandestine attempts to stop him.
Gonna be a good four years.
It just feels so different.
Sorry, just had to rant.

smschulz, I agree completely, and I think most of us feel the same way.
If there is trepidation, it has nothing to do with what Trump plans, it's what obstruction the Dems and their deep state bros have planned. I know that "demonstrations" which almost certainly will--unexpectedly--turn violent are planned for Inauguration Day.
But it just feels completely different this time. We know that Trump and his team will do everything they can to keep their promises; and the great majority of people will back him and oppose the obstruction.

Funny how the party that nominated the most unqualified candidate ever in Harris wants Trump nominees to be qualified. Roll Eyes

I do have a little bit of reservation about Gaetz and Hegseth running large organizations when they haven't before. But then again, A, how is anybody supposed to get experience if nobody gives them a chance, and B, in their current form the organizations are so bloated, wasteful and inefficient that a fresh face is needed.
