Donald Trump is considering tapping his firebrand attorney Alina Habba to be his top spokesperson once he takes office in January, according to reports.

DailyMail.com has learned that Habba, 40, is flying to Palm Beach in Florida on Tuesday evening and is expected to have a discussion with the President-elect this week about a potential role in his administration.

She could be asked to join Trump as his White House press secretary, a hugely high-profile job that requires sparring with members of the media daily, and being the 'face' of the administration.

Known as the attack dog of his campaign, Habba was often seen at Trump's rallies urging his supporters to stick it to liberals and vote him in for a second term.

Although Trump hasn't come to a decision yet, Habba has emerged as the favorite according to reports.

Karoline Leavitt, the campaign spokeswoman, is also considered to be a top contender.

Both women have been alongside Trump through every twist and turn in this election.

That included his closely-watched New York hush-money trial, the aftermath of two assassination attempts, and a grueling campaign.

Habba, whose law firm is based in New Jersey, joined Trump's legal team in 2021 after meeting him at his country club in Bedminster, New Jersey.

At the time, a pile of lawsuits was growing related to the 2020 election.

She was brought on to handle several cases, including E. Jean Carroll's defamation suit, which ended in an $83 million verdict against Trump.

She also represented him in the New York civil fraud case that ended in a $454 million judgment against Trump and is currently in an appeal phase.

Working on these cases and becoming a voice for the election fraud lawsuits, Habba quickly became Trump's most high-profile attorney, one of his most vocal defenders, and a firebrand MAGA icon.

Trump's Save America PAC paid Habba's firm almost $2 million in legal fees in 2022.

Habba was a legal spokeswoman for Trump, often taking on media outside courtrooms – and she became a senior advisor to the former and future president's campaign in the final months.

She spoke at the Republican National Convention (RNC) in July and had a speaking slot at Trump's Madison Square Garden rally in midtown Manhattan the week before the 2024 presidential election.

Habba quickly emerged as a crowd favorite and is known for her brutal speeches going after Democrats.

She spoke at several rallies, including ones in the swing state of Pennsylvania where she touted her links to the state.

The legal guru, 40, married Centerpark CEO Gregg Reuben in 2020.

The couple co-parent her children Chloe and Luke from her previous marriage to Matthew Eyet, along with Reuben's son Parker from his previous relationship.

Most recently, Habba was spotted singing the song, 'Trump Won', during post election celebrations at Mar-a-Lago.

She was born in New Jersey to Chaldean Catholic parents who fled being persecuted in Iraq in the 1980s.

Her first job was in fashion working for the Marc Jacobs brand.

Then, she earned her law degree from Widener University in Pennsylvania, in 2010.

Habba was a clerk for New Jersey Superior Court Judge Eugene Codey Jr.

Then she was in private practice for several years and went on to start her own law firm in New Jersey.

That led to her meeting Trump at his New Jersey golf club and she quickly became one of his most high-profile and vocal lawyers and defenders.

In the E. Jean Carroll case she had frequent disagreements with Judge Lewis Kaplan, who even threatened her with jail.

At one point Judge Kaplan said: 'Ms Habba, you are on the verge of spending some time in the lock-up, now sit down.'

Liz Cheney said that the democratic system “functioned last night” as Donald Trump was elected to a new term in the White House, but said that it would be up to citizens, courts, the press and those in government to be the “guardrails of democracy.”

Cheney endorsed Kamala Harris in the presidential race, voting for a Democrat for the first time. Her father, former Vice President Dick Cheney, also endorsed Harris.

Cheney wrote on X, “Our nation’s democratic system functioned last night and we have a new President-elect. All Americans are bound, whether we like the outcome or not, to accept the results of our elections. The official who will oversee border security under President-elect Donald Trump warned people who are in the United States illegally to “self-deport” because the federal government is going to make immigration enforcement a priority in the incoming administration.
Over the weekend, Trump released a statement on social media confirming Tom Homan, the former acting director of the Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE), would be named as his “border czar.” The president-elect, in part, campaigned on significantly enforcing immigration laws and border security.
“Criminals and gang members get no grace period,” Homan told Fox News on Monday evening. “While we’re out prioritizing the public safety threats and national security threats, if you wanna self-deport, you should self-deport because, again, we know who you are, and we’re gonna come and find you.”
Homan said that illegal immigrants who are not criminals, national security threats, or gang members who want to “self-deport” can do so, adding that criminals and gang members “get no favors from this administration.”
“You came to this country illegally, which is a crime. You committed crimes against United States citizens, some heinous crimes. You get no grace period. So we’re coming for you,” he said.
Elaborating, Homan suggested that some people who are not authorized to be in the U.S. should “self-deport” because “they can put everything in order,” including their homes, businesses, and other arrangements.

“They can put all that in order and leave with their family all together,” he said.
A key component of Trump’s 2024 presidential campaign is his promise to carry out what he called the largest mass deportation in U.S. history. He said he may use the National Guard and invoke the 1798 Alien Enemies Act that was used by second U.S. President John Adams, which allows a president to detain, relocate, or deport non-citizens from a nation considered an enemy of the United States.
During the first Trump administration, he was criticized by Democrats, including Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez (D-N.Y.), for separating illegal immigrant families at the border. When asked about family separations during a “60 Minutes” interview last month, Homan said that “families can be deported together,” in an apparent policy shift.
In that same “60 Minutes” interview before the election, Homan also described suggestions of mass neighborhood raids or building camps to hold people as “ridiculous.” He also said worksite immigration enforcement operations—which the Biden administration largely stopped—would be necessary.
As Trump’s “border czar,” Homan will be responsible for the southern and northern borders, maritime and aviation security, and will be in responsible for deportation efforts, the president-elect said in a statement.
The American Immigration Council, a group that has opposed Trump’s policies, said in October that mass deportations could create “devastating costs” for the United States, including its budget and economy.
“Mass deportations would cause significant labor shocks across multiple key industries, with especially acute impacts on construction, agriculture, and the hospitality sector,” the group said, adding that about 14 percent of people who work construction are in the United States illegally.
In campaign events and media appearances, Trump and Vice President-elect JD Vance have said that there would be longstanding economic benefits from their deportation plan. During his Oct. 1 debate with Minnesota Gov. Tim Walz, Vance said that illegal immigrants, in part, are a reason why housing and rent prices have soared across the United States in recent years.
Trump has said that he has “no choice” but to carry out mass deportations regardless of the cost. “It’s not a question of a price tag,” Trump told NBC News last week and that “really, we have no choice.”
“When people have killed and murdered, when drug lords have destroyed countries,“ the president-elect said. ”And now they’re going to go back to those countries because they’re not staying here. There is no price tag.”
