Just keeping his name in the news to help sell product.
The article shows why that’s somewhat hypocritical.

I had a pair of Nike shoes I returned to footlocker. When they asked me why I told them, "They hurt my feet when I stand for the National Anthem".

It does not matter if they do.
.......

You want my symbols, and other things I hold dear? Come, take, but pack a lunch.

It matters not to me. It's just pisses me off that the media says shit that I know to be false so effortlessly and nonchalantly it's become like breathing to them, in fact I'm certain the guy in the video would suffocate if he stopped telling lies. Don Lemon and that whole crew can look you dead in the eye and lie right on camera with no shame.

I was purely curious if this was a truthful statement or another lie broadcast in the name of news.

I do not care if some skinhead with misguided ideas living in his mom's garage flys the flag, one man or even a large group of people can't steal the flags meaning. In fact I am going to go buy one as soon as I finish this post, need a new flag, mine is starting to fade.

I'm too young to have ever personally seen a neoNazi or KKK member in person. I remember as a little kid seeing them March in DC and it was only like fifty of them they could gather from all over the states. Tried again when I was in middle school and 30 showed up. Thirty, not 30k, thirty.

Are white supremacists even a real thing anymore?

ETA just googled it, the 1990 DC clan rally only had 27 attendees, not thirty. That was 29 years ago.

Jesse, I used your question as a springboard. It was in no way a correction or retort. Smile

The leftest natural inclination is to "say something negative about whom they are against" no matter what, then build the wall of lies around that thing to protect it.

I am not surprised at anything they say.

(what comes next is not bragging, only to set the basis for what I say. What occurred, did so, without me, I only know of it through them and am simply, retelling.)

I have met a few "hood wearing, horse riding" Klansman. The real deals, and was not impresses. One was the father of a friend of mine.

He died about ten years ago (in his nineties) few years ago, and I heard a few of his stories. More out of curiosity of hearing from an actual person about his thoughts and ideals.

I will tell you, he was no different than most any other person that was born and/or raised in the Panhandle, except he was open about the Klan stuff. Had the pictures of he and others in dress and with the horses, and he had a very open disdain for non-white people.

If you ever saw "The Man Who Captured Eichmann" with Robert Duvall, he was very much the same as Duvall's Eichmann.

I also have met many who survived the camps of Nazi's, mostly Jewish, but one lady who was a nurse who served in a camp and who saw the medical experiments, was caught stealing medicine and giving it to children and was then put in with and treated as were Jewish prisoners.

And also knew an old Jewish couple that were from Ukraine, the German army invaded and the Soviets destroyed most everything and retreated from Ukraine, evacuating most to the Ural area and left many (mostly Jews, Poles, and some Ukraine people behind) when the Germans started rounding up Jews and putting them in camps, this couple fled, and were later imprisoned by the Soviets for telling of what happened in the Ukraine. (speaking out against the Soviet government's actions). They were released after the war and went back to Ukraine and I met them in the 90s as they were working of immigrating to Israel. They were older but in spite of it all, they were happy and content people and very kind.

And in addition to all of this, I have had the fortune of meeting many peoples from South East Asia in the 70s, and some of them became friends and I see a few from time to time, and the people from various countries from around the world who have come here and have or are becoming citizens.

Almost without exception, all of these people show remarkable and generous spirit, are happy, and friendly people, in spite of the hardship and evil things they have seen and or endured.

The haters will never win, there is and always will be people who will die to be free, and will fight to be liberated.

And having known such people, the "counterfeits" are so easy to spot.

The "counterfeits" are those in this country who claim to be "victims of hate" when they are the perpetrators of the same kind actions, words and deeds, that brought about the real pogroms, ethnic cleansing, wars and atrocities. They and those who use them, are the ones that so loudly proclaim justices and freedom all the while shoving aside all that this Republic was built upon and has stood for.

Such hatred knows no bounds of color, religion, clan, tribe, country, gender, nor rich or poor. It just hates.

Give it no quarter.

So I won't wear nike shoes, as they don't fit my feet. but after the whole first round of this non-sense I won't do business with Nike directly. At this point I won't do business with them tangentially, meaning I won't buy anything from someone else say a sports team if it's on a Nike garment.
