Those shoes should’ve been pulled because they’re ugly, not just because of anything that douchebag Kaepernick said. Smile

I haven’t bought any of their wares since their stand with him.

When Ayatollah Khomeini issued a fatwah ordering Muslims to kill Salman Rushie over the book Satanic Verses, I went right out and bought a copy. (Tried to read it. It was horrible.) When the anti-freedom gun-grabbers raised hell about "high-capacity" magazines I went right out an bought a 33-round mag for my G34. When the Brewers Association demanded an end to "provocative" beer names, I went right out and bought one of the beers the name of which they used as an example. (And the brewer of which resigned from the organization.) When leftists demanded an end to the Confederate Battle Flag I went right out and bought one.

So why not?

I'll buy one, but not any time soon. Nobody has them in stock for delivery before Thursday, so I'll be flying the flag I've flown here at the ensigmatic household for 27 years.

And I'll buy a 12"x18" Don't Tread On Me flag for fly just under it Smile

Yep. $11.34 with free shipping.
I think it's a cool flag.

This.
Nike doesn't care one iota, if they can take advantage of a holiday or, situation to sell something they'll do it. While the shoe is ugly and I wouldn't wear it, there's going to be a bunch of folks running out there to find what dealer held onto them and wear them 'out of principal'. SMH

Kaepernick....if that flag is from a time of slavery, I guess you should also stop wearing cotton clothing, cause you know, slaves. How's that payout settlement from the NFL working out? asshole

Whatever floats your boat.

The Betsy Ross House is about 10 minutes away, maybe I’ll go clean the gutter in front of it to show my support that she couldn’t have the flag on a Nike sneaker. But probably not lol.

Oh yes, I totally see the how the situations you mentioned are just like Nike not making a shoe that no one here was going to buy anyway.

It was an ugly shoe and no mistake. And that was no place for the American flag, in any of its iterations, anyway. So there's two reasons it's just as well they pulled it.

But you appear to be purposely completely missing the point and I wonder why you're going to such a great effort to do so?

Anyway... what the hell... Done: 3'x5' Betsy Ross flag and 12"x18" Don't Tread On Me flag, both made in America, ordered from Gadsden and Culpeper.

(Btw: You should keep your current CUT. It's accurate Wink.)

Enjoy your flag, I have a small out outside my house along with a Gadsden.

I just don’t see the point of being angry over what this company or Colin does.

If anyone was to be upset about Nike, it should be about how they still run foreign sweatshops, not about this stuff. Yes, I think it’s silly they won’t make these shoes, but it doesn’t affect me in anyway and I wouldn’t want to see a flag that represents this country’s history on a dirty ass shoe that’s worn by people who don’t care what it truly means.

Woke Kaepernick is now leading Nike around by the nose, enjoying every minute of it. This is EXACTLY what happens when you give in to these people just a little, they come back and want it all.

FUCK NIKE. Red Face

Angry? I'm not angry. Nothing that Nike or Kaepernick does is sufficiently important to me to even annoy me, much less anger me. I'd say I'm more amused than annoyed. I mainly regard this as a good excuse to acquire a couple very cool flags. I'd planned to acquire the DTOM flag, anyway.

On all other U.S. holidays I'll fly the current flag, with a State of Michigan flag under it, as we've done for 27 years. But on future Independence Days I'll hoist the new flags.

Your company has lost its way if you are letting idiots like this guy guide you. Clearly he should move to a country that is not offensive to him. I have some suggestions on ones where they need real men to defend their women and children from murderers and rapist, but I doubt this cowardly sack of shit will do that - he's all talk.

Anyways, I wear the New Balance 993 series, an actual Made in the USA sneaker.

NIKE pandering to an un-American 'athletes's' hurt feelings? What next, 'entertainers' and socialist politicians?
