| I have found the Panera Bread brand is pretty good and definitely a step above Campbell's and Progresso. It will be in a refrigerated section at the grocery store, and it does cost a good bit more.

| Tony's Clam chowder in a can! Half to use heavy cream with it. Amazing. |

At home I will sometimes brown finely chopped onion in the pan, add a few crushed tomatoes, and then the soup. A quick whir with an immersion blender and a gentle simmer to warm. Usually served with toasted sourdough bread.
I'm more partial to the Trader Joe's version, I find the taste to have a bit more depth. While I don't eat it often, I'll put together a very nice grilled-cheese sandwich, crusty bread, a blend of aged cheddar and American cheese, to go with a hot bowl for lunch. |
