| Staring back from the abyss  |
I haven't followed BB much this year, but I always get sucked in to March Madness. As much as I am committed to Gonzaga (personal connections and all), I've picked Duke to win it all, although their last narrow win over a number 9 makes me question that prediction. I'll stick with Duke, but GO ZAGS! Another vote for the ZAGS here. Most of my wife's family graduated from there, my daughter graduated from there, and the priest that married us is a family friend and was the university president for 11 years. Plus. I just plain like the team. I like Mark Few's coaching philosophy and style. There is NO dead weight on that team, and the players are truly a team and support each other. | |||

I will be at the sweet 16 Friday and the elite 8 Sunday with my two sons Son #1 is a D1 basketball recruit at 6’8 as a sophomore, so college basketball has become more important as more coaches contact him and it has become apparent that maybe one day I will be watching him This also means we get to see Zion in person The cost of these tickets went through the roof when duke and Zion were locked into Friday and I thought about selling them But this is a once in a lifetime kind of thing with my boys, so we’re going, screw the money —————————————————— If the meek will inherit the earth, what will happen to us tigers? | |||
