It’s okay everyone! The Government is here and they have a very special message for you!

’Trust the government' says head of EPA during visit to Ohio train derailment site

"I'm asking they trust the government. I know that's hard. We know there's a lack of trust," Regan said. "We’re testing for everything that was on that train."

Since the derailment, residents have complained about headaches and irritated eyes and finding their cars and lawns covered in soot. The hazardous chemicals that spilled from the train killed thousands of fish, and residents have talked about finding dying or sick pets and wildlife.

When they say "trust us", that's when the alarms start going off. Nope.
I was going to drive down there tomorrow but after some local news coverage and a few other things, I'll just stay away.

I remember the smell of the local steel mills when they were going back in my youth. Pretty sure they dumped a ton of shit into the Mahoning River around me. This has to be 10x worse.

I'd rather be hated for who I am than loved for who I'm not.

I think my blood pressure reached dangerous levels after watching Dr vanderdouche compare a toxic mushroom cloud to pumping gas and burning wood. Mad

Dewine needed get out in front of this really quick. The Flint water fiasco caused enough damage to Gov. Rick Snyder to end his political career. Pretty similar scenario with this event.
And the Docs lab coat is a bit much.

President Trump to visit East Palestine after toxic train derailment

It will be viewed by many as mere campaignng, but no one would have batted an eye if he didn't go. He's going to a place poisoned by toxic chemicals.

My belief is that the man cares about the people of East Palestine, and all Americans.

Watch, Biden’s handlers will now rush to get that decrepit old man out there to preempt Trump.

Yes, Trump does care about all Americans and loves the United States of America

Unlike the current crop of incompetent toxic boneheads in the biden administration. They are all worthless idiots, destroying whatever they touch. Incapable of creating, building, innovating, fixing - they just covet and destroy what others have built and try to convince people the pile of rubble they leave is some sort of built back better horseshit. But with marx as their hero, of course they are all as worthless as he was. Transportation Secretary - yeah like he is going actually do something. He is so unqualified he doesn't even know where to start. Of course nobody trust idiots like this in the government.

Donald Trump is not a politician, he is a leader, politicians are a dime a dozen, leaders are priceless.

Yet another diversity hire. You don't need to be an expert in environmental issues to realize that Regan is incompetent in his role; you just need to listen to him speak for a minute.

All the usual leftist talking heads I work with are blaming this on deregulation.

And I have to just keep my mouth shut. Or else.

He’s not only clearly out of his depth in regards to his knowledge of the talking points he’s spewing, he is an embarrassingly poor speaker. It seems to be a common pattern in the Biden administration.

You'd think that with all of the rainbow colored water there that this administration would have been all over this.

Are they still burning the vinyl chloride, or is that done?
It's hard to tell from the way they are reporting on the derailment and spill.

Oh, NOW the Biden administration is sending FEMA into the area to assess the situation- after saying "The people in this area need far more assistance than we can provide," which is a monumentally stupid thing to say.

Why reject a valid request for assistance and then turn around two days later and begin the process? It's becoming tiresome- calling these people stupid, that is. They willingly make themselves out to be utterly incompetent.

So right after Trump announces he is going there, FEMA reverses their decision? What a bunch of clowns.
