Did that make you feel good? You may not care but some of us do.

Yes it did! I am not wasting my time on bullshit squabbling from the likes of Chris Christie. I watched the first debate and I was sorry that I did.

Despite the fact that none of the candidates involved in these debates will be the Republican nominee, there is certainly value to these events. Most obviously, the dominance of Ramaswamy is the most conspicuous thing, and the truths he has laid out needed to be said and needed to be heard. He even went after Ronna McDaniel and he has brought much attention on her hideously poor performance, and he has almost certainly hastened her removal as RNC Chair. Ramaswamy is carving out a place for himself in future politics and he's been so dominant, he's got people like Van Jones pissing themselves at the prospect of what Ramaswamy might accomplish.

These debates have also damaged the RINO Haley, showing her to be a weak and compromised candidate, and lots of people have gotten to hear the shameful, self-centered rhetoric of Chris Christie, who is a truly horrible human being. Really, just a boorish, God-awful person, and I cannot wait until he's gone for good.

You can say you have no interest in watching, and you can say you did not know about the debate the other night. Well, neither do I, and neither did I, but I'll damn sure watch the highlights, and if you want to stay abreast of what's going on in the election, so should you.

Well the RNC is running out of money. Lot of major donors have shut off the spigot. And Ronna has been busy trying to outpace Wayne LaPierre when it comes to pissing away donor funds on their own lavish lifestyle.

I also didn't watch any of the debates and I am pretty sure my brain is less cluttered because of that. Also, I knew very well that the things that I did need to know I would learn right here on this forum. And, I was right.

I love this place. Smile

I first heard Vivek talk on the Michael Knowles show very shortly after it was announced that he was running for president. I remember that Vivek stated (paraphrased) that he realized his chance at winning the primary were very small, but that the real goal was to make the debate stages so he could say things that need to be said but that no one else is saying. A wise plan that certainly has panned out.

Plus, I think he ask acted as a Trump standin, making a lot of the points Trump may have wanted to make without Trump having to expose himself to fire.

Useful endeavor for sure.

This man should have and will have, I believe, a political future. You can say what you will about Ramaswamy. You can say that he has expressed views in the past which contradict his current views, or that he has emulated the style of this or that politician, but what you cannot take from him is his habit of turning the tables on others who seek to trap him, and cramming the truth down their throats.

President Trump needs look for further for a Vice President.

Mr. Ramaswamy is the man for the job!

If not, put him in charge of OMB and OPM.

I like your thinking!

This guy can go toe to toe with anyone. This would leave Trump to run the country without having to deal with the constant assault he had been getting.

I don't think he'll get the nod for VP, and that's not because I don't think he deserves it. Whoever that is, if it isn't Ramaswami, then he needs to be appointed to a cabinet position where he's going to get to go toe to toe with these assholes from behind a bully pulpit. I love what he was to say to these people, every time he fires from the hip and hits them right between the eyes with some power.

Vivek is a smart guy that founded his own Pharma company. It's no wonder he runs circles around career politicians.

With some exceptions, most politicians simply aren't very bright. They are fundamentally unproductive and often narcissistic vapid people that cannot build a business or even manage one, so they rely solely on "politics" and popularity contests to get low paying elected offices that they can then leverage to become rich by selling access and influence, or taking actual bribes. And being stupid and in charge is not very good for the constituents that elected them.

De Santis is pretty smart, but seems unable to stand up for himself effectively in a debate. He seemed to be good at fighting back with the press as a Governor but he got steamrolled by Gavin Newsome in the Fox debate even though Newsom was simply spouting made up statistics and lies.

Make Vivek the press secretary for Trump and then move him up from there. Seeing him give a daily ass-whipping to the media would be entertaining.

Whats an AP reporter to do? Their softball questions to the leftists get weak grounders but they also have to reassess fastball questions to those on the right as they keep getting taken to the fence.
