I end up feeling gluttonous if I post more than three or four on a given day. 8484 posts including this one. Three thousand and sixty-two days ago I joined.

2.77 posts a day. Only borderline gluttonous. Whew...no meds needed.

It's kind of hard to come up with a number for me based on my start date. I rarely posted the first few years while I was working, but since retiring in 2011 I feel like I'm a post whore. I'm pretty sure that I post 3-5 times a day now.

Jim

It varies. A third of my posts were in my first decade and the rest since 2012 after Newtown, Connecticut. 200/yr for ten years then triple that per year.

There are some hobbyist forums I hit once or twice a year with questions then hover for a bit, get involved, then disappear again.

So far, I'm the post whore here.

This is my 14,888th post. I registered on March 24, 2011 making it 2,721 days that I've been a member here.

14,888 posts over 2,721 days calculates out to 5.472 posts per day or 38.3 posts per week or 166.5 posts per month.

"It did not really matter what we expected from life, but rather what life expected from us. We needed to stop asking about the meaning of life, and instead to think of ourselves as those who were being questioned by life – daily and hourly. Our answer must consist not in talk and meditation, but in right action and in right conduct. Life ultimately means taking the responsibility to find the right answer to its problems and to fulfill the tasks which it constantly sets for each individual." Viktor Frankl, Man's Search for Meaning, 1946.

Let's see how many posts I have.

Okay so divided by 5153 = 1.7108.
Just a little post-slutty perhaps.

I work from home sitting at a keyboard. Sometimes there is a few minutes between tasks for work. I often spend those few minutes reading this forum. I'd say all told I spend a couple of hours a day here but rarely post. I usually find that someone else has expressed the same opinion as mine so I figure there is no need for me to post.

Calculations indicate .0810 posts per day since joining back in 2007. Or 29.58 per year.

No way to really answer that, normal is not a concrete term.
