I think Trump's idea is merely a flame to the regional players to start coming up with ideas and get off the status-quo. Their response was one of outrage and indignation, which also meant, 'you're welcome to come up with a better idea...we'll be waiting'; its a great move from a diplomatic standpoint. As if today's events weren't traumatizing enough, multiple outlets are reporting Israeli forensics have determined Hamas did not send back the body of the mother of the two murdered children, but instead, a random body with a body unable to be identified by Israeli officials.
