Today they are reporting 46,000 deaths in Gaza.Of course, we don't know how many were Hamas/Fighters/Supporters. This represents 2% of the population of 2.3 million inhabitants. _________________________

^^^ And how many of these were of terrorists? How many were actually collateral damage? We will never know the truthful numbers. Who are "they"? Hamas? 99.9% of Gaza is Hamas. He who fights with monsters might take care lest he thereby become a monster.

33 hostages to be released in 1st stage of emerging hostage deal Source tells Arutz Sheva IDF to remain in the Philadelphi Corridor during 1st stage of 42-day ceasefire, not withdraw until all hostages are released, and hundreds of terrorists will be released in exchange for the hostages. https://www.israelnationalnews.com/news/402230 A political source detailed the details of the hostage deal that is taking shape in a conversation with Arutz Sheva this evening (Monday) and explained where the talks with Hamas stand. He noted that "there is progress in all components of the agreement formula, advanced stages of negotiations," but emphasized that "there are still no final agreements." According to the current outline, while the first phase of the deal is being implemented, discussions will begin on the release of the remaining hostages and bodies held by Hamas. The ceasefire is currently set to last 42 days. The details indicate that the first phase of the deal will include the release of 33 hostages under the "humanitarian" category, including all the captive female soldiers, women, and men over the age of 50. In addition, men who are extremely ill may be released as well even if they are under the age of 50. At the same time, Israel will release hundreds of terrorists, some with blood on their hands. For each female soldier freed by Hamas, 50 terrorists will be released, including 30 serving life sentences for their crimes. A political source clarified that terrorists with blood will not be deported to Judea and Samaria. In addition, terrorists who participated in the October 7 massacre will not be among those released. It also appears that under the emerging deal, the IDF will not withdraw from the Gaza Strip until all the hostages are released and that there will be a buffer zone, a perimeter, created inside Gaza. In the first phase of the deal, Israel will continue to remain on the Philadelphi Corridor. On the other hand, there will be security arrangements for the passage of civilians to return to northern Gaza. In addition, the second phase of the deal will begin on the 16th day of the ceasefire, when the parties will begin discussing the possibility of a permanent ceasefire and the release of additional hostages. The discussions are also expected to focus on long-term issues of the reconstruction of the Gaza Strip and the possibility of a change of government in the Strip. The source explained that for months Hamas refused to compromise, but has begun to show a level of flexibility more recently. "The change began to take place on July 3rd when Hamas began to back down from its demands - and from the moment Sinwar was eliminated and we began to attack the Shi'ite axis." _________________________ "Sometimes I wonder whether the world is being run by smart people who are putting us on or by imbeciles who really mean it." The swap of hostages for hundreds of convicted terrorists sounds like nothing but trouble ahead for Israel. One for one is what it should be. and for every October 7th hostage that died hang one of the convicted imprisoned murderers. Wish Trump day one would send a high ranking person to meet with the Hamas negotiators and tell them they have 7 days to release every hostage with a US citizenship and if that is not done the US will blockage Gaza and not one bit of food or medicine will cross the blockade. The Gaza population supports Hamas so let them have a wakeup call that they are the equivalent of the Nazis who we destroyed with a bombing campaign, military advance until they were crushed and in the end the surviving leadership ended up with nooses around their necks It's time to support civilization and destroy the barbarians. X days to release all Hostages. If all are not released Israel and US joint forces will invade and find every last one of them, killing anyone in their way who resists. No passing GO, no collecting on pay day, no parking on meditteranian avenue, that's it. By now it's safe to assume 99% of Gazans ARE Hamas, and by supporting them 110% they are reclassified as enemy combatants and will surrender or be eliminated on the spot wherever they stand. That changes the calculus rather instantly. Yea I know. Lover of the US Constitution Wile E. Coyote School of DIY Disaster

That's precisely what will happen. DJT doesn't want any more US boots on the ground than already is, but we'll gladly keep our neighborhood friends well stocked and supplied with the necessary tools to do the job while telling the UN and other apologists to either get with the program or, get out of the way.

I recall from many years ago that one faction or other kidnapped a couple of russian diplomats in Lebanon. Within a couple of days half a dozen local luminaries had been taken away and found with vital bits missing - like a head. More would follow, the russians said, until we get our people back. They got their people back. This needs to happen in Gaza and Lebanon - now.

"We Have A Deal For The Hostages" - Trump Lauds Israel-Hamas Ceasefire 'Breakthrough' https://www.zerohedge.com/geop...asefire-deal-reached Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu has informed relatives of hostages kidnapped by Hamas that the end of the war in Gaza is near, amid reports that a ceasefire and hostage exchange deal has been reached. A formal deal could be announced within hours, he has said. "We are super close," an Israeli source has told The Jerusalem Post. And Axios reports Wednesday morning, "A breakthrough has been reached in the negotiations between Israel and Hamas in Doha and a deal to release hostages held by Hamas and establish a ceasefire in Gaza is imminent, three Israeli officials told Axios." "There is a breakthrough in the hostage deal negotiations in Doha. Hamas' military leader in Gaza Mohammed Sinwar gave his OK," one Israeli official was cited as saying. And importantly, a statement from Trump's team: More at link _________________________ "Sometimes I wonder whether the world is being run by smart people who are putting us on or by imbeciles who really mean it."
