Biden wants banks to report on all transactions involving bank accounts with $600 or more in order to more "efficiently" tax people and "chase down tax cheats". Per today's edition of the New York Times ("Biden's Proposal To Empower IRS Rattles Banks And Their Customers", by Kate Kelly and Alan Rappeport) banks are being overwhelmed with phone calls, emails and letters from customers, and are themselves engaged in a massive lobbying effort to prevent Uncah Joe from forcing them into this additional level of reporting.

That moronic idea has the potential to get a LOT of cash drained out of banks and any other types of institutions that would have to comply. As in, 'make the Great Depression look like a picnic' levels of cash drain.

No wonder the banks are lobbying against it.

Of course, behind the scenes, that sort of data would also be a perfect sort of setup for a 'wealth tax'.

^^ And guess who decides what it means to be "wealthy"? We're looking at a hollowing out of the middle class that would turn California green with envy.

Is it me, or does anyone else feel like they are living in the movie 'Back to the Future, Part 2'.

The electric cars make odd sounds and world is all fucked up with Biden playing the role of Biff.

You notice a trend developing?

1 - Vaccine mandates being handed off to private industry for them to do what the Fed's can't do legally.
2 - Bank transaction tracking being handed off to banks to do what the Fed's can't do legally.
3 - Shutting down free speech handed off to Big Tech and the media to do what the Fed's can't do legally.

Every segment of private industry is being weaponized against the people on behalf of the most corrupt administration in US history to get around the law. At this point we are no longer a "country of laws and not of men".

Yes, it's called fascism.
Government is in bed with big business.

"Some things are apparent. Where government moves in, community retreats, civil society disintegrates and our ability to control our own destiny atrophies. The result is: families under siege; war in the streets; unapologetic expropriation of property; the precipitous decline of the rule of law; the rapid rise of corruption; the loss of civility and the triumph of deceit. The result is a debased, debauched culture which finds moral depravity entertaining and virtue contemptible."

Southwest Airlines CEO crying "we didnt want to issue the vaccine mandate...the government MADE us do it..." Bullshit. Youre a liar and a coward. While there may be a mandate issued in the future, it has not yet been so, and you and your cronies in the airline industry JUMPED at the chance to fuck with your employees. Howd that work out for you, prick?

That was 5 prints. Not the originals which are slated to be auctioned later. That is when he will get the big money + 10%.

Why does government need to follow through on this at all at this point given these boot licking cowards and sycophants will have virtually taken care of it for them without any legal order issued whatsoever. Somebody should have told this 'man' to grow a pair and do what was right for his employees. But I'm sure that never entered his head.

The showdown is going to come with the states that will not comply (Texas and Florida come to mind). Let's see how ugly this filth wants to make it.

Ever the globalist - Joe is uniting the world

GOING GLOBAL: Protesters in Rome Chant ‘Fuck Joe Biden’

The chant is now global.

No, not “Let’s Go Brandon!” The other one.

“Protesters in Rome chant ‘Fuck Joe Biden’ as they march past the American Embassy,” one person wrote on Twitter over the weekend.

Thousands of demonstrators gathered on Saturday and marched down Rome’s famed Via Veneto, “clashing with police as they protested Italy’s new ‘Green Pass’ vaccination requirement for employees to enter their offices,” The Associated Press reported.

“The certification is mandatory beginning on Oct. 15 and applies to public and private workplaces. Both employees and employers risk fines if they don’t comply. Public sector workers can be suspended if they show up five times without a Green Pass. The pass is already required in Italy to enter museums, theaters, gyms and indoor restaurants, as well as to take long-distance trains and buses or domestic flights,” the wire service reported.

But somehow Romans decided to add Biden into their chants. The protest coincided with the visit of House Speaker Nancy Pelosi (D-CA) to Rome. At one point, Italian security officials had to take Pelosi and her husband out of a Mass in Rome’s St. Patrick’s Church, CBS reported.

Inflation was up 5.4% over last year in September – the highest rate in 13 years.

Gas, food and goods continue to be key drivers of inflation. Used car prices fell slightly but remain 24% higher than last year.

Let's Go Brandon

Joe claimed today that the ports will be working 24-7.

Um... don't they ordinarily do that?
And if not, then why have they waited until today to get that bright idea?

Confused

Nope, the ports do not work 24-7. They tried to up the hours of operation at Long Beach some time back and found they had both inadequate port manpower, and an unwillingness of the trucking industry to step up their hours. Long Beach quickly gave up that idea.

Mr. Potato Head today is just too stupid to even give consideration to. The problems plaguing the ports are too few workers working to offload containers, and a severe lack of trucking to move the goods from port to warehouse and beyond. Warehouses are also full of goods right now because there isn't enough trucking to move them to their destinations. None of that will be cured because Joe Potato Head happened to decree a change in hours.
