I heard that Trump said they never expected him to accept the debate conditions. No audience, CNN, Tappert, Bash, Mute button, etc. They thought he would say no and then they could say look Trump won't debate us. When he jumped on it he says he basically roped them in to disaster. Trump knew they would never be able to get Biden ready for a debate so he called their bluff. And he was right.

Oh GOD no! I don't want him gone, no way no how. PLEASE keep him, PLEASE!

Beside him being the easiest person to beat in his condition, this sham IS transparency. The whole world knows he's not in charge and with Joe bumbling around it's undeniable.

Mark Dice sums it up well, and what concerns me now is that the Dems may put in a substitute.
My only concern there is perhaps some energy it could insert which may or may not be profitable for them.
I would never underestimate the Dems resourcefulness albeit criminal or legit.
I like having ole Joe as the candidate for obvious reasons.

Gavin Newsom's Chances of Beating Donald Trump, According to Polls

Questions have been raised as to whether Gavin Newsom should replace President Joe Biden as the 2024 Democratic nominee, but polls suggest the California governor would still lose to Donald Trump.

Fears over Biden's reelection hopes increased following the president's performance during the CNN debate on Thursday.

During the debate, Biden, who has faced concerns about his age as he seeks a second term, gave a number of incoherent and confusing responses to questions while also trailing off and not completing his sentences. Biden's voice also appeared hoarse, which his campaign team said was due to a cold.

The performance prompted calls from some Democrats for Biden to stand down and allow another candidate to seek the 2024 nomination at the Democratic National Convention in August. Newsom, long seen as a future Democratic White House hopeful, has already dismissed suggestions he or anyone else is hoping to replace Biden as the party's nominee.
Even if Biden were to stand down—essentially the only way he will not be the Democratic Party nominee in November—the polls available suggest Newsom would lose to Trump.

A March Rasmussen Reports survey of 912 likely voters found that former President Trump would lead by 17 points (51 percent to 34) if Newsom were the 2024 Democratic nominee.

n February 2024, an Emerson College Polling survey of 1,225 showed that Trump would win in a hypothetical White House race against Newsom by 10 points (46 percent to 36).

A November 2023 Fox News poll of 1,001 registered voters found that Trump would win an election against Newsom by four points (49 percent to 45).

Newsweek reached out to Biden's office via email for comment.

In the wake of the CNN debate, Newsom reiterated that he is supporting Biden's reelection bid and described calls for the president to step down as "unhelpful" and "unnecessary."

"We've got to have the back of this president," Newsom told MSNBC. "You don't turn your back because of one performance. What kind of party does that?

"The more time we start having these conversations, go down these rabbit holes, are unhelpful to our democracy, our fate and future of this country," Newsom added. "The world needs us to step up, and that's exactly what I intend to do."

Steve Schmidt, a veteran anti-Trump Republican strategist, was one of those who suggested that Biden end his 2024 bid in the wake of his debate performance.

"Joe Biden lost the country tonight, and will not get it back," Schmidt posted on X, formerly Twitter. "If Trump is a threat and democracy is on the line, then Biden must step aside. His duty, oath and legacy require an act of humility and selflessness."

Former Democratic presidential hopeful Andrew Yang posted on X: "What's Joe Biden's superpower? That he's a good guy who will do the right thing for the country. In this case, that's stepping aside and letting the DNC choose another nominee."

Biden is set to be confirmed as the party's 2024 nominee at the Democratic National Convention in Chicago in August.

The president and his team have long dismissed suggestions he will withdraw from the race before November amid concerns about his age and poor approval ratings.

Lauren Hitt, Biden's campaign spokesperson, told the Associated Press after the debate: "Of course he's not dropping out."

Watched the whole thing like others here and I thought Biden did great.

He showed what elder abuse looks like and what happens when you put a cognitively deficient elder under a lot of stress and under a microscope. [/sarcasm]

OTOH; and with some non-sarcasm, I actually thought CNN did a pretty decent job moderating the debate.

They seemed to zone right into many of the the Biden administration weaknesses and failures.

The Premeditated Assassination of a President’s Career by the Party That Elected Him
By J.D. Rucker • Jun. 27, 2024

Joe Biden will not be the Democrat nominee for president. We’ve been saying it for months and Thursday night’s debate was the springboard upon which corporate media proxies of the UniParty Swamp will take turns stabbing Biden in a coordinated political assassination plot.

It’ll be like Murder on the Orient Express but with a lot more than 12 men and women burying their daggers into him. Among those will not be Donald Trump or any of his real supporters. It was the Democrats and RINO members of the UniParty Swamp who planned, coordinated, and executed the end of Joseph Robinette Biden.

Here’s MSNBC’s Joy Reid taking her stab at Joe.

They aren’t shocked about Joe Biden’s severe age related issues.

They KNOW, they see him EVERYDAY.

This was on purpose.

The Democrats have LIED to America about Joe Biden.

Now they’re going to try to replace him.

NONE of the Democrats can be trusted.

— Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene (@RepMTG) June 28, 2024

They used Anderson Cooper to get two jabs for one by hitting both Kamala Harris and Biden in the same interview.

CNN’s panel went after those defending Biden.

.@ScottJenningsKY: We now know that every single person who said "BUT BIDEN IS GREAT BEHIND CLOSED DOORS" has been LYING to the American people. pic.twitter.com/WBh3xGheZD

— Trump War Room (@TrumpWarRoom) June 28, 2024

This isn’t just about getting rid of Joe Biden. It’s about taking down any remnant of support for him.

And in case anyone thinks this is just an organic reaction to a bad debate, it wasn’t. I fully agree with @DC_Draino:

Make no mistake

This wide-ranging Democrat reaction to have Joe Biden step down is coordinated

This is not organic

The machine set this debate trap for Biden, waited for the right moment, and now the knives are out

Et tú Barack?

I saw a feed on X at the end of the debate where she came up on stage and helped him step down off the podium and shuffled him over to the moderators to shake their hands. It was truly staggering how this guy is barely able to walk or talk…

I hate to see people making fun of him for being an old man. There are lots of other misdeeds that need to be kept front and center so his cohorts can be brought down. The people who should be ridiculed are those who allow this to go on.

Why isn't the issue.
The curtain has been pulled-back for all to see, that the emperor not only has no clothes but, has no brain.
CNN for all their faults and bias' showed who Biden really is. The video is out there now, no longer kept to X/Twitter clips, off-hour talk-show exposes or, humorous memes; all this time Biden is incapable thus, who the hell is running things in the White House and more importantly do the American people care?
The '20 election was run from a basement, big media wrote endless supporting articles & op-ed's, non-stop water-carrying, all the attacks came from supporters in the news....the pushback from big sections of Americans was 'anybody but Trump', while the other half was 'you gotta b-fing kidding'

Now news figures are attempting to be critical, their weak stab at being objective while showing their 'concern', this was engineered into a high-wire act and the Big Guy is wobbling badly.

Look at the image Radioman posted above and tell me Jill Biden's going to leave peacefully.

This is as close as Kamala's ever going to get- Will she just walk away?

I hope they go scorched earth and destroy the Democratic Party fighting amongst themselves.

The Republican “cheap fake, disinformation” machine was apparently able to fake the entire presidential debate to make Biden look bad; that’s Mission Impossible stuff.

Remember this story from just 10 days ago?

quote:
White House press secretary Karine Jean-Pierre pushed back on a series of recent videos of President Joe Biden as she called them "cheap fakes," sparking Republican outrage across social media on Monday.

On Monday, Jean-Pierre was asked about a recent series of videos, which stemmed from Biden's trip to France earlier this month, his visit to Italy last week and his stop at a fundraiser Saturday, that purportedly show Biden being guided off stage or standing motionless.

In response to those videos, Jean-Pierre pushed back and said they were being spread in "bad faith" as she referenced a Washington Post article that called the footage "cheap fake" videos.
