Spending money for votes again Brandon?

Kind of reminds me of our ex-Governor Granholm’s “Cool Cities” initiative and the millions spent on park benches, signs and decorative street lighting. Perfume on a pig so to speak.

Let’s not spend this money in ways that actually improve the quality of life for the residents in many areas of the city that have been passed by. Makes too much sense.

Yes, if you looked at some of the Usual Suspect Lame stream media news feeds, it was part of the Dim talking point that the videos were edited and it was "disinformation". of course, not once did they show a video supporting that Two Scoops wasn't wandering around lost (or looking for the Light), so that weakened their whole it was edited crap argument.

The dipshit in the video wants to go back to their golden era when all social media acted on their talking points and labeled any other thought/opinion as disinformation.

What happens if Biden dies shortly before the election? Or fails to the extent he's bed ridden?

1. VP
2. 25th amendment.

"Some things are apparent. Where government moves in, community retreats, civil society disintegrates and our ability to control our own destiny atrophies. The result is: families under siege; war in the streets; unapologetic expropriation of property; the precipitous decline of the rule of law; the rapid rise of corruption; the loss of civility and the triumph of deceit. The result is a debased, debauched culture which finds moral depravity entertaining and virtue contemptible."

VP takes over, but iirc the democratic party can put anyone in his spot after their convention.

Even Obama, at Biden's Hollywood fundraiser, cannot muster much enthusiasm for a future Biden presidency. He even admits tuning out politics and watching sports instead.

quote:
The Hill reports Obama made his revelation at a glittering Biden campaign fundraiser with the president on Saturday in Los Angeles, telling a select group of TikTok and Instagram creators he understands the challenge “influencers” face avoiding politics in their work.

“We live in a cynical time,” Obama said. “Let’s face it: I think a lot of the people who watch you, listen to you, who are fans of you — a lot of times they feel turned off by the political discourse.”

“I get it,” he continued. “You know, I frankly watch sports, mostly. Because it feels like everything is slash and burn.”

Despite his reticence to partake of current politics Obama went on to pitch for Biden and offer his backing, urging his audience to stop and listen to the octogenarian Democrat’s message.

Obama, 19 years younger than Biden, acknowledged many young, progressive creators are skeptical of Biden — but argued their beliefs are shared, even if the latter is accused of being less than physically able to execute his public duties.

We live in "cynical times" because shit ain't going right Barry. But even you, Kaptain Kenya, know that shit is so fucking bad, you'd rather watch guys playing ball rather than watch the news.

While I believe this is true, several of us were discussing recently the impossible challenge of conducting an election if he died or became incapacitated a week or even a month before Election Day. Ballots and machines already set up, preliminary voting already in motion, all sort of things that would create chaos.

We couldn't find any clarity on this and how things would be handled.

Is there precedent for this? Has this country ever had a presidential candidate who died or was disabled at the eleventh hour?

I think there is some plotting going on behind the scenes to get him to not accept the nomination at the convention but he's a stubborn old goat and his wife is a power-hungry real-life Lady Macbeth and that is where it's going to be tough.
