I filled my car w gas today.

As I put the gas nozzle back on the pump, I saw a small sticker about 1.5" square.

It was a picture of biden pointing at the midgrade price ($3.30 per gal) w biden saying "I did that"

Biden Again Begs OPEC+ To Ramp-Up Oil Production

https://www.zerohedge.com/ener...-ramp-oil-production

With oil prices reaching multi-year highs (and expected to go higher), White House officials are reportedly "closely monitoring" the cost of gasoline (and likely also the President's approval rating).

Having failed to stem the tide of soaring 'flation' in everything we eat and now the cost of heating/driving, Reuters reports that The White House is once again reiterating - likely in a strongly worded email - its urging of OPEC+ to increase crude production.

White House officials say "they are using every tool to address anti-competitive practices in US and global energy markets."

They have raised the concern at a senior level with several members of the OPEC+ alliance, according to the official.

Well if that is true, they are failing miserably (and what would Greta and AOC say about demanding more fossil fuel output?)

One thing of note, why doesn't the Biden admin unleash another executive order demanding that US crude producers ramp up their production? (intervening in free markets for energy has been going so well so far)...

As a reminder, President Biden said he was calling on OPEC to boost oil output (to implicitly cut prices of crude and thus gasoline) on August 11th. Then followed up with a threat to release the SPR on Oct 7th...

Things have gone just a little bit turbo from then.

Increased gas prices at the pump are already baked in for the next few weeks, given where crude and wholesales gasoline prices have moved recently...

Could it be possible that OPEC just doesn't care what the Biden admin wants?

As respected energy market (and geopolitical) observe Daniel Yergin told Bloomberg this morning, "the Biden admin doesn't have many tools on energy prices."

White House throws up its hands at new questions on Hunter Biden’s ‘art’ scam

https://nypost.com/2021/10/10/...ter-bidens-art-scam/

“I’d refer to the gallerist for questions,” huffed White House press secretary Jen Psaki last week in non-answer to reporters asking about Hunter Biden’s star-studded Los Angeles art show. Meaning: President Biden can’t bother to make his son observe basic ethical rules.

Though Hunter’s dealer seems worried: The next day, he pushed back the Gotham debut. Maybe he was responding to new signs suggesting taxpayers may be helping foot the bill for the first son’s latest grift.

For months, the White House claimed that because Manhattan art broker Georges Bergès promised not to reveal the identities of those who pony up the $75,000 to $500,000 asking prices for works by the “self-taught” painter, collectors can’t possibly buy the prez’s influence. But his LA opening proved the preposterousness of that:. A couple hundred guests nibbled finger foods and quaffed vino alongside such celebs as musician Moby, boxer Sugar Ray Leonard and Eric Garcetti, LA mayor and the prez’s pick for ambassador to India.

“Should we expect to see more people who seek jobs in this administration attending events like this in the future?” CBS News Radio’s Steven Portnoy asked Psaki Wednesday.

“Well, to be clear, we’ve spoken to the arrangement that is run by the gallerist and Hunter Biden’s representatives that the White House provided suggestions for. I’d refer to the gallerist for questions about the event as well as the representatives of Mr. Garcetti in terms of his attendance,” Psaki blustered.

Portnoy noted, “This is exactly what ethicists said they were worried about.”

Psaki played dumb: “What is, specifically? That he reportedly attended an event?” And, answering similar questions: “I’d point you to the gallerist on the specifics of the restrictions that were put in place,” Psaki said.

As Mother Jones pointed out, the potential patrons weren’t even looking at originals, just prints. Still, at least five sold before the show for $75K each, The Post learned, while Bergès has postponed the planned October opening in his Soho gallery to spring and lawyers will be “vetting” attendees.

Bergès’ gallery has just two employees, but he’s received $500,000 in Small Business Administration COVID “disaster assistance loans,” far more than the 100-plus other galleries in that congressional district — $350,000 of it OK’d after his client’s dad took office. And he wouldn’t answer The Post’s questions on whether the Bidens helped him secure the cash and if Hunter has benefited from it.

We look forward to seeing the Bidens’ enablers in the press and politics try to pretend this stench is just more “Russian disinformation.”

Maybe if we un-reverse some of the policies that brought us to energy independence and made us the top oil producer on the planet during the last administration, then we wouldn't have to beg cartels for more dino juice.

It was all a production. Like everything they do.

All five children who appeared with Kamala Harris in her first YouTube space series that was released last week were child actors.

They all auditioned and were selected over several other child actors.

It’s not a presidency, it’s a production.

“All five of them are actors,” Bernardino’s father, Carlo, told the Washington Examiner in an interview Monday.

“He’s a child actor — he’s been trying to do this type of thing for a while.
And so he has a manager and an agent in LA and they send him castings,” Bernardino said.
“This was a casting call, a very specific one where he had to write essentially a monologue about what he’s really passionate about and he wrote a monologue about the environment.”

Biden wants banks to report on all transactions involving bank accounts with $600 or more in order to more "efficiently" tax people and "chase down tax cheats". Per today's edition of the New York Times ("Biden's Proposal To Empower IRS Rattles Banks And Their Customers", by Kate Kelly and Alan Rappeport) banks are being overwhelmed with phone calls, emails and letters from customers, and are themselves engaged in a massive lobbying effort to prevent Uncah Joe from forcing them into this additional level of reporting.

That moronic idea has the potential to get a LOT of cash drained out of banks and any other types of institutions that would have to comply. As in, 'make the Great Depression look like a picnic' levels of cash drain.

No wonder the banks are lobbying against it.

Of course, behind the scenes, that sort of data would also be a perfect sort of setup for a 'wealth tax'.

^^ And guess who decides what it means to be "wealthy"? We're looking at a hollowing out of the middle class that would turn California green with envy.

You notice a trend developing?

1 - Vaccine mandates being handed off to private industry for them to do what the Fed's can't do legally.
2 - Bank transaction tracking being handed off to banks to do what the Fed's can't do legally.
3 - Shutting down free speech handed off to Big Tech and the media to do what the Fed's can't do legally.

Every segment of private industry is being weaponized against the people on behalf of the most corrupt administration in US history to get around the law. At this point we are no longer a "country of laws and not of men".

Yes, it's called fascism.
Government is in bed with big business.

"Some things are apparent. Where government moves in, community retreats, civil society disintegrates and our ability to control our own destiny atrophies. The result is: families under siege; war in the streets; unapologetic expropriation of property; the precipitous decline of the rule of law; the rapid rise of corruption; the loss of civility and the triumph of deceit. The result is a debased, debauched culture which finds moral depravity entertaining and virtue contemptible."

Southwest Airlines CEO crying "we didnt want to issue the vaccine mandate...the government MADE us do it..." Bullshit. Youre a liar and a coward. While there may be a mandate issued in the future, it has not yet been so, and you and your cronies in the airline industry JUMPED at the chance to fuck with your employees. Howd that work out for you, prick?
