Have we seen the work order? This would be physical proof and would name The person turning it in. Every work order I’ve done was my receipt and required my signature.

It is one of the earlier pages. One laptop was beyond repair and returned that day, the other needed a keyboard repaired it was returned that day, the last is the one that was never picked up.

Hunter Biden's Laptop "Is Not Some Russian Disinformation Campaign"; DNI Ratcliffe Slams Schiff

https://www.zerohedge.com/poli...tcliffe-slams-schiff

It appears the "Russia, Russia, Russia" cries from Adam Schiff and his dutiful media peons is dead (we can only hope) as Director of National Intel John Ratcliffe just confirmed to Foxx Business' Maria Bartiromo that:

"Hunter Biden’s laptop is not part of some Russian disinformation campaign.”

re wcb6092 post above,

video of Ratcliffe here:

https://www.foxnews.com/politi...information-campaign

“It’s funny that some of the people who complain the most about intelligence being politicized are the ones politicizing the intelligence,” Ratcliffe said. “Unfortunately, it is Adam Schiff who said the intelligence community believes the Hunter Biden laptop and emails on it are part of a Russian disinformation campaign.”

“Let me be clear: the intelligence community doesn’t believe that because there is no intelligence that supports that. And we have shared no intelligence with Adam Schiff, or any member of Congress.”

A senior intelligence official backed up Ratcliffe's assessment.

"Ratcliffe is 100% correct," the senior intelligence official told Fox News. "There is no intelligence at this time to support Chairman Schiff's statement that recent stories on Biden's foreign business dealings are part of a smart campaign that 'comes from the Kremlin.' Numerous foreign adversaries are seeking to influence American politics, policies, and media narratives. They don't need any help from politicians who spread false information under the guise of intelligence."

Ratcliffe went on to say that the laptop is “in the jurisdiction of the FBI.”

“The FBI has had possession of this,” he said. “Without commenting on any investigation that they may or may not have, their investigation is not centered around Russian disinformation and the intelligence community is not playing any role with respect to that.”

He added: “The intelligence community has not been involved in Hunter Biden’s laptop.”

Ratcliffe went on to say that his role as director of National Intelligence, which he assumed earlier this year, is “to not allow people to leverage the intelligence community for a political narrative that’s not true.”

“In this case, Adam Schiff saying this is part of a disinformation campaign and that the intelligence community has assessed and believes that — that is simply not true,” he said. “Whether its Republicans or Democrats, if they try to leverage the intelligence community for political gain, I won’t allow it.”

XXXXXXXXXX

interesting point from this Fox article:

"his campaign said it released the former vice president’s tax documents and returns, which do not reflect any involvement with Chinese investments."

Does Joe Biden have a tax problem ?

I listened to a long audio recording of reporters talking to the computer repair guy.

Now the author of the Post story puts out an update. What is reported here is very consistent w the audio recording.

https://www.powerlineblog.com/...f-disinformation.php

Miranda Devine takes up the disparagement of the New York Post stories derived from Hunter Biden’s laptop as Russian disinformation and lays out the background of the Post’s acquisition of a copy of the laptop’s hard drive

On April 12, 2019, a man who calls himself Hunter Biden enters a Wilmington, Del., Mac repair shop with three “liquid-damaged” computers just before closing time. The owner says one computer is beyond repair. Another has a fried keyboard, so the owner gives Hunter a spare keyboard.

The third laptop, a MacBook, is salvageable. Hunter signs a work order to confirm he wants him to fix it and provides contact details.

The owner — whom The Post promised anonymity, even though he has since been named by others — recovers the content of the laptop and transfers it to his server. He calls Hunter and asks him to bring in an external drive, onto which he can transfer the content.

Hunter arrives at closing time with the external drive.

He never sets foot inside the store again.

The owner makes frequent attempts to contact Hunter to pick up his laptop, pay the $85 bill and return the keyboard and cord.

No reply.

After 90 days, as per the work order signed by Hunter, the laptop becomes the store’s legal property.

In August, the computer repairman hears news reports about the leaked phone call in which President Trump raises Hunter and Joe Biden’s Burisma activity with Ukraine’s president — the call which sparked his impeachment.

this is Aug 2019

The repairman does a word search of Burisma on Hunter’s laptop. Bingo.

Four months later, the impeachment is big news, so he decides to contact the FBI, via a friend, in case the material on the laptop is useful.

On Dec. 9 two FBI agents take away the laptop and hard drive.

In August this year, the repairman sees Giuliani on TV talking about Hunter and Burisma and decides to contact him via an e-mail address he finds online.

This is how the repairman explained his actions in an e-mail to Giuliani on Aug. 27, 2020:

“As I read deeper into the drive, I started to realize what I was sitting on and who was involved and at what level. I figured the safest thing to do was reach out to the FBI and have them collect the drive and the Mac so I could wash my hands of it and they might be able offer me some level of protection should someone come looking for it and come after me because I knew what was on it. The FBI did show up and . . . over the next few days they contacted me for access to the drive . . . because their tech guys didn’t know Macs.

“That kind of threw up a flag . . .

“They also said nothing ever happens to people who don’t talk about this stuff so that got me a little concerned . . .

“There is some very incriminating videos on the drive . . .

“I live and work in [the Bidens’ hometown] Wilmington, Delaware and my life here as well as my business would be destroyed if people found out what I was involved in.

“I have been trying to keep things quiet . . . but I feel time has been running out.”

The e-mail was compelling. Within two days, a copy of the hard drive was FedEx’d to a Long Island address where Giuliani and his lawyer examined it, and verified the material was genuine.

Bannon, a former Trump adviser, was only peripherally involved. He was brought in by Giuliani in late September to help decipher the China material.

Shortly thereafter, Bannon alerted The Post to the existence of the material, although he did not have a copy.

On Sunday a week ago Giuliani provided The Post with a copy of the hard drive.

It is not hard to believe that Hunter would be as reckless as to abandon a laptop at a repair shop. In October 2016, he left a crack pipe in a Hertz rental car in Arizona, along with a white powdery substance, credit cards and his driver’s license, as widely reported.

NOT A SINGLE REFERENCE to the release of Hunter Biden's emails.

WTF?? Like it never happened??

Pravda is all in for Biden. In the last 24 hours, I’ve went to google several times. Each time, the news feed is chock full of anti-Trump stories. And as many favorable pro-Biden stories.

It’s just a coincidence, I’m sure.

We've all got to stop doing that. yahoo says biden has surged over President Trump by 11 points according to 'likely voters' who favor biden's crud plan. Like closing down the country for 3 months and requiring masks will do a damn bit of good.

Remember the 2016 BS polls.

It all comes down to Pennsylvania, at least according to Trafalgar. The good news is Trump can win Pennsylvania, but the bad news is they send unsolicited mail-in ballots there, a recipe for cheating.

Yanert98,

Same for the NYT and NPR. NOTHING! NADA! ZILCH! ZIP! ZERO!

I just sent to those in my family afflicted with TDS and Progressivism an e-mail with a least a dozen headlines and links to their articles over this story, along with some other recently breaking news exposing the corruption of the Crimson Kenyan’s (and Hilz’) administration.

I have managed for the most part to have a civil conversation about politics with them, futile effort, so I am firing broadsides now to either wake them the F up or discourage them from voting for the immensely corrupt and mentally deficient POS candidate.

You may have us confused with New Jersey. You need to request a mail-in ballot here (10/27 is the cut-off for requests).

Streisand Effect: Twitter Ban On Biden Laptop Scandal Nearly Doubled Visibility According To MIT

https://www.zerohedge.com/poli...g-his-dick-zoom-call

Twitter's Orwellian decision to censor the Hunter Biden laptop scandal published by the New York Post completely backfired - 'nearly doubling' its visibility, according to the Massachusetts Institute of Technology and media intelligence firm Zignal Labs.

The poorly-thought-through ban triggered the so-called Streisand Effect and helped turn a sketchy article into a must-share blockbuster. And then on Friday, the Republican National Committee filed a Federal Election Commission complaint against Twitter, claiming that the ban “amounts to an illegal corporate in-kind political contribution to the Biden campaign.”

...

Looking at the firehose of Twitter shares of the URL—including original tweets, retweets, and quote tweets—Zignal found a surge of shares immediately after Twitter instituted the block, jumping from about 5.5 thousand shares every 15 minutes to about 10 thousand. -MIT Technology Review

The Streisand Effect was named after Barbara Streisand's 2003 attempt to suppress a photo of her Malibu, California residence by trying to sue a photographer for $50 million over the aerial photograph. Before Streisand's lawsuit, the photo had only been downloaded from the photographer's website six times - two of which were Streisand's attorneys. Once the story went viral, however, over 420,000 people visited the site over the following month. The lawsuit was dismissed and Streisand was ordered to pay $155,567 to cover the photographer's legal fees.

And Twitter did the same thing when they banned the Post story - blocking people from posting it or sharing it over Direct Message, deleting tweets, and suspending others who shared it. Of note, the New York Post's Twitter account is still locked.

Twitter cited their policy against unverified information and "hacked materials," though they never explained how the Biden emails - obtained from a laptop which Hunter dropped off at a Delaware computer repair shop and failed to pick up - violated that policy.

After Twitter came under extreme fire for what some consider election meddling and an editorial decision, CEO Jack Dorsey expressed regret, tweeting that "[s]traight blocking of URLs was wrong, and we updated our policy and enforcement to fix. Our goal is to attempt to add context, and now we have capabilities to do that."

For their partisan censorship, the social media giant has earned themselves a Congressional investigation spearheaded by Sens. Josh Hawkey (R-MO) and Ted Cruz (R-TX). Dorsey will testify next Wednesday via videoconference in front of the Senate Commerce Committee.

The Supreme Court of the United States on Monday night ruled that election officials in Pennsylvania can count mail-in ballots up until three days after the election. The Republican National Committee brought about the lawsuit, asking for a Wuhan coronavirus-related order to be suspended. The Pennsylvania Supreme Court had previously approved the order.

“In a year where there is a very real possibility that the final presidential election result hinges on Pennsylvania, the new rules imposed by the decision of the Supreme Court of Pennsylvania (a body elected in partisan elections) could destroy the American public’s confidence in the electoral system as a whole,” the Republican's stay request stated.

According to the Washington Post, the Supreme Court was locked in a dead tie with the conservative justices – Clarence Thomas, Samuel Alito, Neil Gorsuch and Brett Kavanaugh – wanting to issue a stay. Chief Justice John Roberts, however, ruled with the liberal justices on the Court. In order for a stay to be issued there has to be five justices ruling that way.

Ok, I wanna see the vote tally on SCOTUS for that one. Why 3 days? Why not a week? Or how about 2 weeks? Or a month? Just greasing the wheels of both incompetence and corruption.
