The Joe Citizen testimonials have been singularly unimpressive and clearly scripted. Clinton's voice sounds horrible and he looks a good bit older than 74. When I got stuck watching these things as a kid, there were ALWAYS some young Democratic leaders who could be the future of the party. I am not seeing any. The Squad sure is not the future!

AOC Snubs Biden, DNC During 90-Second Speech Nominating Bernie Sanders Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez once again signaled to Democratic party leaders, and the world, on Tuesday night that she would never support an "establishment" (aka non-Marxist) candidate like Joe Biden when she deliberately neglected the Veep during a 90-second speech nominating Bernie Sanders for the Democratic nomination. For those who don't live in the democratic-socialist, rose-emoji fever swamps of left-wing twitter, or hipster-dominated Brooklyn, many of Bernie Sanders' most hard-core supporters have been carrying on what they might call a "performative" campaign to win Sanders the nomination, more as a means to agitate the DNC, the left's only real political goal at this point in its evolution. Speaking after labor activist and lawyer Bob King officially nominated Sanders, AOC appeared to "second" his nomination, a "procedural" role which she blamed for the brevity of her 90 second spot, among the shortest of those speaking at the convention (since she isn't a featured speaker). https://www.zerohedge.com/poli...ating-bernie-sanders "Some things are apparent. On the same day that Biden accepted his nomination, the Trump team dropped a new campaign video. It asks a simple question: “What happened to Joe Biden?” The video isn’t arrogant enough to offer an answer to that question. It simply reinforces the change in Biden over the years by comparing footage of Biden in 2015 with footage of Biden in 2020: What Happened to Joe Biden? https://www.youtube.com/watch?...sgw&feature=youtu.be What’s really sad is that, when one looks at the 2020 footage, one realizes that the Trump campaign was kind. The team that assembled the video didn’t even use the cruelest footage available. Also on Tuesday, Dr. Ronny Jackson, who served as White House physician in both the Obama and Trump administration, spoke out about his current impression of Joe Biden: “The best way I can describe every time I see him is that he’s just lost,” Jackson said. “I won’t make any particular diagnosis about dementia ... but what I will say is that something is not right,” continued the doctor, who just won a GOP congressional primary in Texas. Asked whether he’s comfortable with the idea of Biden assuming the top executive position in the country, Jackson said, “I’m not.” Jackson stresses that he hasn’t personally reviewed Biden’s medical records, but has witnessed the changes to the former vice president up-close, over time. “I saw him frequently around the West Wing and other places like that. I know he’s always been prone to gaffes, but these aren’t gaffes anymore. He can’t form sentences. Sometimes, he can’t complete a thought,” said Jackson, whose full comments are available in Donald Trump Jr.’s upcoming book, “Liberal Privilege: Joe Biden and the Democrats’ Defense of the Indefensible.” For the first time in American history, we will see a campaign that has, on the Republican side, an incredibly vital man who is dedicated to bringing American back to normal. Meanwhile, on the Democrat side, we will see a man manifestly losing himself to some form of dementia, with the real candidate being his vice-presidential sidekick, a vicious, unprincipled, opportunistic woman who pulled out of the primaries with barely any support from the party faithful and who has a 100% hard-left rating in the Senate putting her to the left of Bernie Sanders. The Left has whipped itself into such a hate Trump frenzy that they’ll vote for a mucus plug if it opposes Trump. Now we’ll see who is indeed independent and who just wears that label as camouflage. You’re a lying dog-faced pony soldier

It's not that we can't imagine that world. It's that we can. "The people hate the lizards and the lizards rule the people." "Odd," said Arthur, "I thought you said it was a democracy." "I did," said Ford, "it is." "So," said Arthur, hoping he wasn't sounding ridiculously obtuse, "why don't the people get rid of the lizards?" "It honestly doesn't occur to them. They've all got the vote, so they all pretty much assume that the government they've voted in more or less approximates the government they want." "You mean they actually vote for the lizards." "Oh yes," said Ford with a shrug, "of course." "But," said Arthur, going for the big one again, "why?" "Because if they didn't vote for a lizard, then the wrong lizard might get in."

This is going to sound outrageous, but, once-upon-a-time, in Merrie Olde England, there were no "cops," per se. There'd be maybe a sheriff, and that's it. When a crime was committed, and help in capturing or subduing the suspected perpetrator was required, somebody, perhaps said sheriff, would raise a hue and cry. Citizens would then assist whomever raised it. The crime rate, particularly the violent crime rate, was exceedingly low. You see: When everybody is "the cops," "the cops" are, literally, everywhere. This is not what these people want, though. What they want is a world without responsibility or consequences. They'd be no happier with the people providing for their own safety and security than they are with formal, organized law enforcement doing it. "America is at that awkward stage. It's too late to work within the system,,,, but too early to shoot the bastards." -- Claire Wolfe "If we let things terrify us, life will not be worth living." -- Seneca the Younger, Roman Stoic philosopher
