Bought a Mathews compound bow and all the kit you can imagine from stabilizers to arrow straighteners to.... never used any of it.  And then there was a '73 Dodge Challenger with a full race cam and double pumper carbs set up for the drag strip that we drove on the road getting not much more than 5 mpg.
