The Golden State is already home to some of the highest taxes and costs of living in the country, the consequences of failed government policies. A higher minimum wage is more of the same. Consider California’s "green" energy policies that have created the highest utility rates in the nation. Instead of rolling back those mandates, it’s created a new one: A surcharge on utilities bills. making the middle class pay more, even if they don’t use more. ______________________________________________ Life is short. All of the above. The wage hike, misbehaving teenagers, tenant fee's, all resulting in the shut-down. That mall (oldest on the West Coast) has been changing all their storefronts and remodeling everything lately. The neighborhood is solid and far away from the dystopia of downtown, however on the other side is a large RV encampment from the mall to Lake Merced, next to SF State. | |||
