Hooray!

“President Donald Trump has put on hold $200million meant for recovery efforts in Syria, according to a new report.

The White House has ordered the State Department to freeze the funds as the Trump administration reassesses American involvement in the warn-torn nation, the Wall Street Journal reported on Friday.

The president allegedly reached the decision after reading a news report that said his administration had recently added $200million to stabilizing efforts - a move announced by now-fired Secretary of State Rex Tillerson in Kuwait last month…”

Good. Russia has a toe hold in Syria now, they wanted their warm water port and they got it. We can never get them out. Best thing we can do is write off Syria and send more arms and money to Israel.

Pragmatism at its finest. Mr president is a very bright man, too.

I think the appointment of a prosecutor from Utah was a good move. I would have no faith in someone from DC.

Now I just want to see indictments being handed down.

I had not been watching the news, and then I started watching Tucker Carlson. Ruined my evenings. The whole point of 90% of the stories everywhere on television news is to make you angry or afraid, or both at the same time.

It's like spending every evening eating anger and fear. --It's not good for you.

Yesterday one of the burners on the electric stove was glowing red. I thought I’d put my hand on it to see what it felt like. I didn’t like it. Today when I walked into the kitchen, one of the burners on the electric stove was glowing red. I thought to myself, “I wonder if it will feel any different if I put my hand on it today?”
It didn’t.

Even at my advanced age, some people still manage to amaze me.

According to some followers, Huber has been on this since summer, 2017, just about when the Strzok/Page lovers were dismissed from the Special Counsel team, thought to be when the IG discovered the shenanigans.

Luckily, I have enough willpower to control the driving ambition that rages within me.

When you had the votes, we did things your way. Now, we have the votes and you will be doing things our way. This lesson in political reality from Lyndon B. Johnson

"Some things are apparent. Where government moves in, community retreats, civil society disintegrates and our ability to control our own destiny atrophies. The result is: families under siege; war in the streets; unapologetic expropriation of property; the precipitous decline of the rule of law; the rapid rise of corruption; the loss of civility and the triumph of deceit. The result is a debased, debauched culture which finds moral depravity entertaining and virtue contemptible." - Justice Janice Rogers Brown

Joe Digenova is back as of this morning. A lot to talk about.

I guess I need to rethink the guest list of that dinner I was thinking about with Joe and Victoria, Chris, Rod and Jeff.

What’s with this?

'Only fools, or worse, are saying that our money losing Post Office makes money with Amazon. THEY LOSE A FORTUNE, and this will be changed,' Trump tweeted.’

95% of the stuff I get from Amazon is delivered by Amazon contractors. Only small items come to me via USPS. Does Amazon pay less for delivery of those small items than other retailers?

Thanks for posting those interviews. I hadn't heard of Joe Digenova until a few months ago, but he's now a favorite.

* President has 50 per cent approval rating in Rasmussen's daily tracking poll
* Eight years ago today Barack Obama was polling at 48 per cent
* Overall Trump's approval averages 42.1 per cent
* Rasmussen is the only major presidential approval poll sampling 'likely voters'
* Strong showing comes despite a week of chaos dominated by Stormy Daniels and the dismissal-by-tweet of his Veterans Affairs secretary

Eek Eek Eek

It's like something straight out of They Live.

My local talk guy likes to play these clips, it's crazy how they all are so in lockstep with their scripts. The DNC or some other organization had GOT to be feeding them this on a daily basis with orders to push the talking points of the day or week.
