Congrats, MDS!

Thanks 12131 for holding such an exciting and generous karma!

"Some things are apparent. Where government moves in, community retreats, civil society disintegrates and our ability to control our own destiny atrophies. The result is: families under siege; war in the streets; unapologetic expropriation of property; the precipitous decline of the rule of law; the rapid rise of corruption; the loss of civility and the triumph of deceit. The result is a debased, debauched culture which finds moral depravity entertaining and virtue contemptible."
-- Justice Janice Rogers Brown

Wow, to say that I am surprised and a bit overwhelmed would be an understatement...my jaw hit the floor and it took a few moments for me to try to comprehend why I saw my screen name in the topic title! I've probably checked the topic title 6 times now and rechecked the email to make sure that I wasn't misreading it. Smile

Thanks to all for the congratulations...and a special thanks to Q not only for selecting me in this karma, but more importantly for reminding us all of Constitution Day and the reverence we should all hold this important document in.

I won't question Q's decision, except to say that I realize that there are others far more deserving of this generous gift than myself...and while I am excited, I am also honored and humbled.

Email replied to Q.

Luckily you're going to get to try out and own one. Happy Birthday a little early/late.

Congratulations Modern Day Savage. Constitution/ Citizen Day sadly went unnoticed out here, nothing mentioned on media or at my grandson's elementary school. I brought it to their attention, maybe next year.
