Murkowski should be sweating her drawers up. She's on shaky ground with her constituents I read.

I trust no ones word in Congress. Pretty sure Grassley and Mitch will make sure all the senators can vote and not risk a last minute flip-flop. Like Dangerfield’s Lindy, the Flip-Flop is a specialty of congress critters.

This will be real when the vote is done - I’ll celebrate then.

Oh yeah, Collins had some good points. Standing up for DiFi, Crediting Ford, and not calling out the Democraps on the Judiciary were all “misses”

I’m with Para, she is a pinhead.

I'm still expecting two more D's to vote yes with Senator Manchin when the final vote is taken.

Up until the votes are cast, I'm hopeful that Murkowski will see the light.
So do I, but I think tatortodd gave us the ultimate answer on Murkowski. She's a whore who's completely owned by private interest.

The best thing about Manchin confirming he is a "yes" is that it removes Flake's power to be the decider/disrupter.

I do not trust a word out of that scumbag's mouth. He is not a "yes" until he casts his vote. Thankfully it shouldn't be needed.

Agree completely.

"Some things are apparent. Where government moves in, community retreats, civil society disintegrates and our ability to control our own destiny atrophies. The result is: families under siege; war in the streets; unapologetic expropriation of property; the precipitous decline of the rule of law; the rapid rise of corruption; the loss of civility and the triumph of deceit. The result is a debased, debauched culture which finds moral depravity entertaining and virtue contemptible."

Point of order...

Is the 30 hr rule consecutive hours or "in session" hours?

Thank God for Sig Forum!
I simply can't stand to watch ANY of this live for it gets my blood pressure and heart burn up,
and the wife thinks I've lost it when I start cursing at the TV.

I just tune in here very often.

All these fools that are disruptive in the gallery get there by passes signed by the Senators themselves or their staffers.

The way to fix this is if someone disrupts the proceedings and have to be physically removed that person is banned for life from ever receiving a pass. If a senator or staffer has signed passes for two or more people who are disruptive their pass privledges are suspended.

I'm sick of these dolts in the gallery acting the fool!

I think I'll join ya, Lindsey.

Time for a fuckin drink, on a most excellent Friday afternoon. My wife and I have a bottle of champagne for after the final vote, kind of like a certain night almost 2 years ago...

It's gonna be a fun weekend.

I gotta ask. How many of you will be tuning into CNN, NBC, and/or MSLSD tomorrow evening specifically to watch the meltdowns of the crazies? I might even break my standing rule and tune in for a bit. Razz
