Mrgunsngear has a new video saying the gov there has installed a system to both monitor and to shutdown cell phones. Alternate means of comm would be good to have. CB, ham, GMRS etc.

I wouldn’t think their system would be too hard to immobilize though in theory.
Anyway if this is helpful please checkout his latest video as of yesterday.

I guess in theory someone could jam up their airwaves too but being law abiding citizens that wouldn’t happen.

Mr guns and gear, law enforcement today, qanon, and a shit ton of others are way over the top. Hyperbolic to the extreme. Conspiracy bullshit 7 ft deep.

Show up, say your piece if you go to the delegates, be polite, be nice, bring a trash bag and pick up trash.

I think the police presence is hyperbolic. A bunch of the most law abiding people showing up to protest, and this is the response from gov. blackface.

Good luck either way to all going.

Beware Virginia – A Remarkable Confluence of Events…
Posted on January 18, 2020 by sundance
There is a remarkable confluence of data-points surrounding a second amendment rally in Virginia this holiday weekend that bear a strong note of caution. Something akin to an astroturf event appears in the background. ♦ Data-points:

♦ Billionaire Michael Bloomberg is running for President. Bloomberg has funded the majority of Virginia anti-gun legislators who are now proposing considerable restrictions on lawful gun ownership in the commonwealth.

♦ It is also worth noting in the wake of the astro-turfed Charlottesville narrative, the professional political messaging of the Democrat apparatus, via Joe Biden, proclaimed in April 2019 that Charlottesville represented “the battle for the soul of this nation.”

If there is one consistent aspect to DNC activists (Occupy Wall Street, Antifa etc.), it’s that they use the same playbook.

♦ Provoking civil unrest to achieve political objectives is a well known strategy of the Alinsky wing of the apparatus. ie. “never let a crisis go to waste”; and they are very good at creating the appearance of an organic crisis. It’s usually in hindsight when the astroturf originating the crisis is identified.

The reason the Antifa mob was able to attack the peaceful marchers was ONLY because the Charlottesville Police were ordered to stand down by the far-left Democratic Mayor and Governor (link)

As it was noted in the Charlottesville example, the authorities in Virginia purposefully funneled two activist groups together to create the conflict and crisis (‘Unite the Right’ and Antifa). Consider the possibility of the same play-book being deployed this weekend for the second amendment rally at the Virginia capitol.

Situational Awareness – Take a look at how the authorities in Virginia have literally used chain link fences to fence-in the current demonstration venue. One entrance, few exits:

The Virginia state Capitol building is surrounded by fencing, Thursday, Jan. 16, 2020 in Richmond, Va., in preparation for Monday’s rally by gun rights advocates. Gov. Ralph Northam on Wednesday, Jan. 15, announced a state of emergency and banned all weapons from the rally at the Capitol. (Hoffmeyer/Richmond Times-Dispatch via AP)

♦ Also, keep in mind how the national media are framing this: “Virginia has become Ground Zero in the nation’s raging debate over gun control.”

Just as the national media did with the “far-right” -vs- “Antifa” for the Charlottesville example, there is a much larger national narrative overlay being deployed.

♦ Also as noted in 2017, getting President Trump involved in the controversy is a way to keep the story on a national scale and politicize the crisis. This is a presidential election year, and Democrats are attempting to converge a multitude of social issues for maximum electoral benefit.

♦ VA is an easy and convenient state for political narrative engineering. The geography of Northern Virginia to DC planning headquarters; in combination with a massive media apparatus in close proximity; has made many Virginia events become national stories.

♦ Establish the narrative to be engineered by the Astroturf:

[…] Virginia’s solicitor general, Toby Heytens, told Richmond Circuit Court Judge Joi Taylor on Thursday that law enforcement had identified “credible evidence” that armed out-of-state groups planned to come to Virginia with the possible intention of participating in a “violent insurrection.” (link)

♦ Identify who in the Trump orbit is telling POTUS to keep tweeting about the Virginia event, (yesterday and today) and there’s a strong possibility that person is a Judas Goat.

♦ President Trump is being drawn into the engineering.

♦ Former Robert Mueller special counsel lead FBI investigative supervisory special agent David Archey; a man who had to know -by design of the investigation itself- that the FBI was being used for a corrupt political operation; is now the head of the FBI field office in Richmond, Virginia.

[Source Link]

A remarkable confluence of events.

Something is going to take place.

What that ‘something’ might be is yet unknown.

However, whatever it is, President Trump is unfortunately now attached to it.

[…] Because of the threat of possible violence, organizers of an annual vigil for victims of gun violence — usually held on the King holiday each year — said Friday that they have canceled their event this year.

“Given the serious concerns about possible violence on Monday, we recognize that we can not guarantee the safety of the brave gun violence prevention activists and survivors who have fought so hard for this day,” said Lori Haas, state director of the Coalition to Stop Gun Violence. (link)

FYI: There is a bus chartered by the Culpeper Republican Committee which still had, as of yesterday afternoon, about 10 seats available @ $35/ seat. It will be leaving Culpeper at 0715. If interested, email is in my profile.

I don't think anyone should enter the fenced-in area. Yes, I understand that means not appearing before the members of the American Royalty. First, appearing before them to plead will not do any good. Second, I think it would make a much more powerful statement and visual to not to enter the fencing. Let the grounds stay completely empty with everyone outside the fence.

I think the protesters should surround the fencing as deep as they can and stay there till midnight. Let the royalty either wade through the crowd to leave or remain inside until midnight.

VCDL is asking for people to take one for the team to make sure the “free speech area” is full. I’ll be outside the cage, likely on 9th street and I’ll have my Glock on me. Guy at work is bringing me his backpack that has a plate in it. I’m going to avoid media and if asked anything my only response will be, “I’m here to support freedom.”

I might want to catch the bus, my wife is going to drive me down drop me off and pick me up so I don't have to drive/park my car down there. Worried about being able to meet up with her and crowds. I was planning on arriving at 8AM. If you guys are leaving at 7:15 the earliest you could arrive is 9AM, which I guess won't matter because I'm coming armed and not going in the cage.

If the fence isn't packed full the media will only show the gaps, and they will claim a less than expected or light turnout, regardless of any crowd there might be outside the fence.

I hope there are enough brave soles to pack it full, and that entrance is not hindered so much by security as to prevent it filling up.

I don't have an answer to the problem, but if the pic on the previous page is accurate,

here is the situation:

I'm not familiar w Richmond. The point is there isn't much open space outside of the red box

The upper left corner of the red box is the only entry point.

(assuming the @VACapitol2020 pic is correct)

The box is very roughly 1000' long by 650' wide

This is a very interesting development.

I cannot vouch for the following but I see nothing suggesting it is not a video of a real occurence, as it is consistent with other information (e.g., on facial recognition being the reason for our ugly license photographs).

quote:
https://www.facebook.com/kay.w.wagner/posts/10219164158848132

"This incident occurred on Saturday, 01.18.2020 at 8:57 in the morning. My husband became a target of the pending Red Flag Law in VA. The reason the police came is due to a visit George made to the Capitol in order to become situationally aware of his surroundings on Lobby Day. His observations and the pictures he took made Capitol police concerned.

George was not the only person on Capitol grounds that day. He was not the only person taking pictures either. But George’s size and stature coupled with his purposeful actions made him a target for a dry run on Red Flag laws on a citizen of Virginia. Red Flag Laws have not been legalized in VA at this point.

The police told us they had a tip about George but what we soon discovered was the tip to the police came from the Capitol police itself. The Capitol police saw my husband a threat and then tagged him as a danger. Ten days later the Capitol police, escorted with a State trooper came to our home. We had been rousted at our home on a quiet Saturday morning. Our home which is over a hundred miles from the Capitol and located at a 2nd amendment Sanctuary County.

At this point you should know that one of them was a Capitol police officer and the other was a State Trooper, homicide division. The two officers had their hand on their weapons when my husband stepped out the door to greet them. And the rest you can see on this video. Please share this with anyone who has questions about the Red Flag Laws being proposed. Trump was correct when he said, “they are not after me. They are after you”.

The VSP identified him from a video sent to them by the Virginia Capital Police. No doubt they used facial recognition software to compare his image and the photograph of EVERY person with a Virginia Driver's license or Virginia Identification Card. That gave them, well everything. Full name, address, height, DOB, Organ Donor Status, license number, whether he has a CHP, his civil and criminal experiences, everything.

I'm just stunned they'd send two Troopers, in mufti no less, to do this interrogation based on no more than his walking around the Capital grounds. It seems of little value, as alerting someone that the .gov thinks they are a domestic terrorist is sure to hit the Internet (since odds are he isn't a terrorist). I wonder how many others have had similar calls by the VSP.

Final note: this is why you never talk with the police. The guy being interrogated gave up a ton of information in just a few minutes. For example:

He is opposed the VSP being at his house, saying it was a police state action of socialists and communists. So he hates the police, socialists, and communists.
He planned to attend.
He plans to be inside the "no weapons, except .gov, no drones zone, lobbying (suggesting he plans to go inside the buildings).
He will have a backpack, with "medical supplies" and water, suggesting he expects bloodshed and tear gas (he said that outright).
He is familiar with firearms, and likely has access to at least one, since his father was a VSP Captain.
He has understanding of building, materials, and structures.

DO NOT TALK TO THE POLICE!!!

AND STAY OUT OF THE WOOLSWORTH!!!

He said way more than he had to. He could've simply said he was partially disabled and trying to determine if it was going to be safe to go with how many people were expected to be there. "Double hip replacement and walking with a cane. I wanted to get an idea how long I was going to have to be on my feet with all the added security measures and figure out if I could get by with a walker. I know other older people with similar issues and concerns." Simple.

Nah, I'll go you one better than that. He should have asked (as he did at one point) if they had a warrant. If the answer was 'No', he should have told them to get the hell off his property. End of conversation. If this is real and not some fabrication to gin up anger, its appalling. But it does prove one thing without any question, Northam and his garbage cohorts are scared...big time scared. And I for one love it.

Never tell police a lie.

You can avoid doing so by never telling them anything.

Why not lie? Especially if they can lie to you with impunity?

Because it casts doubt on your character. If you tell them a lie and they can prove it was a lie (in your example, saying you had hip replacement surgery when you did not), they can use that as evidence of intent to deceive, etc.

You are much better off remaining silent.

Not to be too emotional or theatrical, but this 'precautionary investigation' is scary stuff.

One has to admit - this is a SIGNIFICANT move towards North Korea/China-type people control.

The dude didn't have any weapons at the Capitol, didn't make any 'online' threats, or in person threats of any reasonable kind whatsoever...yet two decently ranking LEOs travel 100+ miles to interrogate him? This isn't The Land of the Free (or the Home of the Brave) anymore, is it?
