Thank you and please count me in.

My dad served in the Army Corp of Engineers in the 50's and 2 cousins served in the Marines in the 80's

My grandfather on my mothers side served in the German army in WWII. He became an American POW and was held in North Carolina till the end of the war.

Edit for more color:
After the war, he returned to Germany and got in trouble protesting the genocide being performed by the Russian army in Eastern Germany. Ended up fleeing with his family in the dark of night with out the cloths on their backs. They were able to come to America by 1954.

It may be an unattainable dream to have a Q P-series someday, but I'll throw my hat in. My grandfather crossed the Rhine in March of 1945 and two uncles served in Vietnam.

Very well said and I totally agree!
I too was blessed with your karma of a Noveski N4 for Veteran's Day 2017. As such I simply want to again express my thanks and to not be considered here.

Ditto... I scored a P365 from Q on Memorial Day 2022, so I'm self-disqualifying myself.

Words cannot express my gratitude for his incredible generosity.

I'll throw my name in the pot and clarified... I never served... closet I ever came was 9 months at The Citadel... but my father was one of the Chosen Few... in fact he was in recon company which was the last to come out and held up the rear.

Note the rifle with scope and cheek rest over the front wheel of the jeep... that was his.

Very cool! Thanks for pointing that out.
I have just been skimming through the entries and didn't notice it.

(Hope you didn't mind my comment 12131; this is not a request to be entered in your generous offering.)
