I think it may go back to how bad Pelosi and Schumer looked responding to Trump's latest address. My father's office did a lot of testimony in from of the House Armed Services Committee. Standard procedure was they were given a list of written questions 6 months in advance and given 2 weeks to submit answers in writing. That gave the committee 5-1/2 months to research, plan and write their rebuttal. The rebuttals were strictly theater. Congressmen would have invited guests as plants to pander to and make their points. "You stated that 200 million dollars is not a lot of menu, but to my constituents here today who've lost their family farm, that's a lot of money..." The worst part was a lot of times member of the committee were not even there when they delivered their rebuttal, it was taped and spliced in to that it looks real time. So I could see this, get a copy of the address in advance and have time to plan, write and rehearse their rebuttal. My daughter can deflate your daughter's soccer ball.

Staring back from the abyss |
My question is why in the hell was Pelosi (and a handful of other commies) going to Brussels and Afghanistan in the first place? Some dumb broad on Tucker states that she was going to meet with our NATO allies and to "thank the troops". First of all, she is in no position to "meet with our NATO allies". The President sets foreign policy, not the Speaker of the House. Let's tell the truth, shall we? She and the other commies were going to Brussels to undermine The Donald. That is the ONLY reason. And going to Afghanistan to "thank the troops"? Really? Horseshit. They were going there to meet with senior leaders with the sole purpose of undermining The Donald and his plan there. POTUS needs to put the kibosh on these asshole Congressmen (yes, I said Congressmen...sue me) traveling around the world trying to influence foreign policy. This bitch is getting way too big for her britches. ________________________________________________________ "Great danger lies in the notion that we can reason with evil." Doug Patton.

That was my immediate thought. ► 6.4/93.6 “Most men … can seldom accept the simplest and most obvious truth if it … would oblige them to admit the falsity of conclusions … which they have woven, thread by thread, into the fabrics of their lives.” — Leo Tolstoy
