Holtby is the reason the Caps are where they are. He folded against the Pens the last few years but he is much steadier this season in the playoffs. While a great save I have to ding the shooter for not elevating the puck. | |||

It was amusing watching post game interviews with the Caps players choosing their words carefully about the hit on Kuznetsov considering how they have defended Wilson's play. Great game by the Caps. Outplayed Vegas most of the night. Holtby made one huge mistake but luckily it didn't matter in the end. Without the asst. by Holtby, Vegas had nothing. It’s a non-issue. Show up to play and try to score. Reaves trying to change the tone of the game in the middle of the third was a miscalculation. I have to disagree. Not a good game. I missed Saturday’s game, but thought Vegas looked awful tonight.
