^^^Especially Nabisco brand saltines. I may have to switch to Zesta or Sunshine. 71 Truck and perhaps others have mentioned cream cheese. Woke up this morning hangering for smoked salmon cream cheese on an Asiago cheese bagel. First store had almost nothing but plain cream cheese; second store had a very light stock of the smoked salmon, and about $1.50 more for the small container than the last purchase. Check-out lady says the store isn't getting all that much in from distributor, etc. and sometimes it's one box of assorted.

Last 3 shopping trips, no carts up front and I wound up scrounging one from the parking lot corrals. Stores weren't that crowded, and neither was the parking lot.
Apparently there isn't a shortage of homeless people there.
Almond caulking. Plenty of white, some cedar brown, "biscuit" which I've never seen before. Went to four stores yesterday and finally found one - uno - case of almond. And BTW, cheap caulk isn't very common now. The $3 stuff is usually sold out, plenty of $8-11 tubes in stock. But, not almond.
At $4 a gallon locally for fuel, the laptop will get a workout the next trip to the lumberyard to see who has what where before I leave. Thought I learned my lesson already.
