With the crime levels in NY, I can’t imagine why anyone would want to come here.

Of course..."the crazies" probably our nicest term for the snowbirds who come here and change the pace of everything for the worse for 4 months.

Money, as in big-time international money.

Around here people flood-in seeking Michelin-stared restaurants, 5-star boutique hotels with vistas of vineyards and usually apart of an endless parade of expensive weddings, bachelorette parties, anniversaries, mixed-in with blacked-out SUVs, luxury Sprinter vans, catering vehicles and lost Uber drivers. There's some benefits being a resident of a destination location, fortunately, I'm nowhere close to concentrated tourist areas as such things tend to be spread out.

In my reports they're generally referred to as Victim # 1 , Victim # 2 etc.
Live and work in a big tourist town and the crooks love em.
PSA.. don't leave anything in your vehicle that you'd have a hard time replacing.
