Less than five miles as the crow flies to Maryland. About an hour and a half to drive.

You can't truly call yourself "peaceful" unless you are capable of great violence. If you're not capable of great violence, you're not peaceful, you're harmless.

I thought you lived between Austin and Waco? If so, you couldn't make either in 3 hours even if you were driving 100 mph.

17.5 miles from Delaware, maybe 30-35 min in traffic.

Maybe 30 miles from NJ. No idea how long it would take, since in the 6 years I've been here, I've never ventured to Jersey. It does require driving all the way through or around Philly, so probably like an hour.

Swimming, maybe the same 1000 feet as Doublesharp except to Ohio. Walking maybe a mile to the bridge and then across. Driving a couple of miles. Time is kind of variable. Back to swimming at least an hour in summer. With cold water I'd surely drown. Walking probably an hour or two. Driving depends on me getting behind an idiot Ohio driver who is lost.

Indiana maybe half an hour. Unless the roads are blocked by an idiot.
