Thanks for the tip. Just got me some MRO.

I've gone bargain shopping and purchased all high quality stocks/ETFs that I plan to hold long term. Got the ones below a few weeks back.

RCL
NCLH
AAL
HAL
SLB
MRO
BA
MFA
WSBC
VTI
SPY
AMZN
DKNG (My risky bet)

DKNG killing it right now. I bought some at $19.32 after you posted this. Paying off so far! Thanks for the tip!

Glad to hear. I got some around that price as well and bought again at $21. As soon as sports restart, it’s gonna take off even more.

Jumped into some GE today at $5.50. Worth taking a risk at a 29 year low. Only time will tell.

Hope it works out for you. Sears was that high not long ago.

IMHO the market will again retest and exceed the March lows. I will pick some stock up at that time. There are segments of the market at this point that do not reflect reality. { I am speaking about the stocks that are seriously overbought at this point.}

It won't hurt if it doesn't. I agree with you and have been waiting for the second low. I'm pretty surprised it hasn't hit already. But when it does, I'm ready to jump in with more buying.

Looks like it's just about time for another bargain buying day. What a ride!

At one point a few weeks back, I was up $8000. Today, I'm down almost $1000.

Buying and holding, so I'm not too concerned...except for Boeing. I know it's not going anywhere, but I hope it returns to it's highs in time.

The issue is they are losing 32 cents per share every year and they have a huge pension obligation, with no clear path to profitability right now.

29 year low. I guess 'Jack' wasn't the great CEO that everyone thought he was. A great CEO would have aligned the company for greatness after his departure.

Jack was excellent. He is not responsible for the fumblefingers who followed his act.

We don't give Reg Jones the credit for Welch's performance - Jack shouldn't get 'credited' for Immelt's.

Onto general topics. Hopefully you all are as aware as the Fed that this is not over.

Nothing close to an 'investment' market at this point. Speculate at will, if you desire, and good luck to you.

Bank stocks are getting hammered which means dividends are way up. Trick is to pick ones that won't cut div. I've recently added more Wesbanco wsbc and Park prk. Walgreens wba is beat down, too.

Solid earnings and outlook for DKNG. It’s gonna be the Facebook of gambling.

Good deal Raimus! I’d like to add to my position but I’m trying to save up cash for another market drop. I like the stock. George Soros is an investor in it so you know it’s good. Razz

It all depends upon management. Casinos came to Mississippi in 1992, Katrina destroyed every one of them on the Coast in 2005. Today we have sports book as well, and there has been quite a consolidation since 1992. I made some good money in one of them, and was fortunate to get out when the consolidation binge started.

What’s your take on Draft Kings? I think it’s a great brand, especially now since people can’t get their gambling fix at casinos.

Well our casinos are opening with 50 percent occupancy and some restrictions on May 21. Louisiana not far behind. All of them have sports book which brings in a lot of traffic. The margins are not that great for Sports Book. As I noted earlier it may be a great brand, but it depends on management. I would certainly consider it a speculative stock at this point. I believe there are only seven other states that allow sports book. Hope this helps.

Thanks for your insight ZSMICHAEL. I also agree that is very speculative. Hopefully it does turn into Facebook for gamblers.

Speaking of Facebook, as a devout user, I didn’t buy when they first went public. My reasons were that they didn’t make anything. I’m still kicking myself.
