It is a logo for a Corvette racing team. I've ridden in the car in this article - scary fast!

The influence of Hollywood strikes again...sorry gents but it is true.

Every dude with an AR and low-profile ballcap began sporting that Punisher logo 5 minutes after American Sniper hit the theaters.

You know from time to time the same conversation comes up but with stickers on your car, wearing gun shirts or hats, etc.
Can't someone just enjoy something without being judged?
Does being critical really make you better than everyone else?
Yeah, I like the Punisher skull, can we just leave it at that? Eek

I'd rather just get back to the topic of this thread. I don't mind a tangent now and then but this has gone completely off the rails.

I'll go back to my early thought here, in a sea of skull graphic choices, if you must have one, the Punisher skull about as good as it gets.

I was curious, do you think the Goat he drove was an automatic or 4 speed, I'm thinking an automatic, because it would be harder to move around with a gun, and it would free up his hands to engage the metal window coverings.

If it was an automatic does it reduce the overall coolness of the logo?

And if the stickers are cool, then why didn't he put the punisher logo on the hood ya know to scare off enemies, looters, drug lords n such...

I guess it's a good thing that John Wick doesn't have a logo Smile

This thread has inspired me to give the Punisher series on Netflix a try. Years ago, I tried to watch the movie but it was unwatchable.

I'm a Punisher fan as stated previously, the movies have been pretty bad (though the one with Ray Stevenson was O.K.) I watched season 1 of the Netflix series and thought that it was really good. Need to watch season 2 - but have to sign up for Netflix again first...

Para,

I hope they at least gave you a cameo appearance in the movie!

FWIW, the original T-shirts for C. K. were in fact made by Forged; a supporter of the SEALs community (run by former team members) and made this shirt “The Legend” to fund Taya Kyle’s defense in the lawsuit filed by gruff face, former gubernator of Minnesota. All proceeds went to her. I’m a proud owner/donner of that cause.

Check out this short "bootleg" if you haven't.
Aside from my 80's comic collection, this is what I think of when I see a Punisher logo shirt.

I liked Thomas Jane's Punisher movie...just 'cause of him. It was typical Hollywood BS that ruined it.

I love that short and have seen it probably 6 times. It is what that movie should have been. Now that "gritty" became trendy it would (could) have been made that way today.

SEAL Team 3 started putting it on their trucks, armor, and kit.

Then they started making patches.

You know, to be tough guys.

Pretty much it.
