Yay. More insane taxes and crazy policies. As a recent refugee from the failed socialist state of CA, I feel bad for my right leaning friends still in CA. But I too have similar ultra leftist acquaintances on Facebook that post insane things about staying blue in CA etc. It’s just crazy. I am so glad I am free now in the Great state of Florida. Just can’t believe I didn’t do this years ago. | |||

If you're open to it, I'd love an email describing your experience. Where you were in CA, pros/cons of the move to FL (not just 2A but cultural, social, economical - what daily life like vs here). To be fair, Idaho and Tennessee have more to worry about. A significant amount of coworkers and people in my “extended circle” have left CA in the last couple years. None went to Florida. One family group went to Texas. The rest, which is a lot, went to Idaho and Tennessee. Oh, and one to South Dakota. | |||
