God speed Bigboreshooter.

Fortunate enough to meet him in person (and others in thread) and enjoy his company and his generosity.

Prayers Big Bore.

It took my mother-in-law earlier this year and my wife is devastated.

That is such an incredibly kind offer! I don't think we'll need to take you up on it, but we're so appreciative of the offer.

To update everyone, he's still with us, which continues to surprise the hospice nurses. There's no doubt he's a fighter! Thank you for the continued outpouring of love and support and prayers for our family!

Hi, everyone. This is BBS's youngest daughter. I think one of you has talked to my sister. I just wanted you all to know how much it means to us to see how many people care about daddy. You all and this forum have meant a lot to him. He's still here as of now, but he'll be resting soon. Thank you all for your kind words and prayers for our family.

BBD, our heartfelt thoughts and prayers are with the whole family. As you can tell, your Dad was a big part of our cyberfamily.

I regret never meeting him.

What an amazing offer. If you come near Birmingham, call me. I’ll buy you dinner. I’ll make snake207 buy your drinks.

I will miss our lunch meetings, Phillip.

I will second what ruger357 said about him. He is so proud of his family and is truly a “salt of the earth” human being. He is a Rotarian, and always seemed to be involved with giving back to his community.

‘Til Valhalla, my friend.

I can't adequately convey how important a hospice nurse's job is and how good they are at providing relief during such sad and trying time. They truly are angels on our shoulders.

I keep taking for granted that SIGforum members won't always be around to banter with and learn from. I enjoyed reading BigBore's posts and am sad that there won't be any more.

Godspeed BigBoreShooter, and thank you.
