Hopefully some of our members in Birmingham will be able to contact him and let us know.

We are both in oil and gas so we have exchanged emails a few times over the years, but haven’t exchanged an email in a long time. His real world name is extremely common so searching on-line or FB didn’t pan out.

Yes, Bigboreshooter is very ill and he could definitely use your prayers. I think arcwelder said it best when he said "fuck cancer".
I haven't seen him since before the COVID craziness broke out - we met for lunch a few times. He'd mentioned that his cancer had come back, and the prognosis wasn't great. However, he had an amazing attitude and was going to fight it again tooth and nail. (If you've ever had the honor of meeting Phillip, you know he's the type of guy who if anyone can beat something - he can. His personality and faith are crazy strong.)
I emailed him a few weeks ago at his work email to check-in but never heard back.
I will try and text him later and see how things are going.

Prayers up for Bigboreshooter.
"Some things are apparent. Where government moves in, community retreats, civil society disintegrates and our ability to control our own destiny atrophies. The result is: families under siege; war in the streets; unapologetic expropriation of property; the precipitous decline of the rule of law; the rapid rise of corruption; the loss of civility and the triumph of deceit. The result is a debased, debauched culture which finds moral depravity entertaining and virtue contemptible." -- Justice Janice Rogers Brown
