That's a good combo.

Nothing of note for myself here lately. Smoked an Alex salomon on the 4th that was a little lack luster, which is unusual. I traded for a few of his Talismans and some others and they are great sticks.

Ronin, next time try a Tabak Especial Negra with your morning coffee.. I'm generally not a flavored cigar person, however for the Tabak I'll make an exception.

Interesting you say that, while I am on the whole not a fan of infused cigars, I do rotate in Drew Estate’s Mocha Java with coffee from time to time. Also, a Kentucky Fire Cured is actually pretty tasty at a campfire with some bourbon.

Rocky Patel Decade Cameroon with a Guinness Nitro Cold Brew in a tall beer glass. Let the relaxation commence! If the weekend has to end this is a great way to end it. Aaaahhh…

Just got an email last night that Drew Estate is cancelling the Barn Smoker events again due to the Delta variant. I was looking forward to the FL one as it was in November instead of May.

New lounge just recently opened near my house so I plan to check that out today on the way home. I've been hoping a nice place with some cold AC would open up near me to enjoy smoking in the summer.

gotta get this one back to the top.

I've been into the Gurkha box pressed cigars lately. They're just good and for a reasonable price.

I need to try a Gurkha soon. And a Punch.

I’m kind of infatuated with Rocky Patel and Oliva right now, though. Enjoyed a Rocky Patel Old World Reserve Corojo for an hour and 45 minutes this afternoon, with two glasses of Guiness Nitro Cold Brew. Damn I really enjoy both of those…

Which Gurkha do you recommend?

CI is offering free shipping this weekend, so I went browsing. My favorites have been hard to come by for quite some time but, I must have looked at half-a-dozen lines of cigars—not just particular offerings and sizes, but entire lines of my favorite cigars. Then I looked up the notes I had saved from you guys in this thread right here. These are alternatives to my favorite cigars, some more affordable, some usually more available. Nada. Everything I was interested is either “out of stock,” “backordered,” or “delayed at least 30 days.” I’ve never seen it this bad.

OK gents. Meant to break these out last weekend in LA with my buddies for the Cowboys game but LA has gone full commie with no cigar bars.

So here I am in Paris with a Fuente Fuente Opus X Lost City that has been in my humidor for 5 years.

Amazing stick. Totally worth the price and the wait.

I’ve got 4 more with me in a bag with a Boveda pack and 5 at home.

None of my idiot friends appreciate them.

Hint hint. It might be cigar trading time.

Nice!!! Opus X are meant to be aged, like yours ,as they get better with time. I smoked some fresh and couldn't understand why people would pay the price for one. Then I sat on one for two years as I didn't care for the ones I had before. WOW! What a difference. I then understood what the hype was about.

This was a nice cigar, went nice with some Crown Apple.

Strange as it may sound, I enjoy sweet tea with my cigars most of the time.

So far I'm a Gurkha fan and I've started to dip into the many offerings from Drew Estates.
